I moved from Florida 8 years ago and used to eat here before moving. Not sure if the owners have changed but had them again this past week and it felt so nostalgic and tasted just how I remembered it. I got boneless spare ribs and fried rice. Huge portions and decent price. It came with an egg roll which was also good. I unfortunately cannot get something similar in Texas which stinks.
The only con was I also got krab rangoons which tasted awful. And for some reason they had a pink tinge of color to them and the cream cheese didn’t taste right. Would not recommend those.

This is my go to for Chinese in Bradenton. They’re always polite when I go in and I live that you can order online and set a pickup time. Sweet and Sour chicken for the kids and spicy honey chicken for me.

Located in the Harbor Freight plaza, signage isn’t great. China One is located two doors to the left of Harbor Freight. There are three tables to dine at but the ambience is geared for someone who’s got ten minutes to eat before they have to get back to work. It was apparent that their main business was takeout even during lunchtime. The chicken was well cooked, very succulent and the veggies were crispy not overdone The rice was too salty. The cashier was friendly enough. Too far for us to comeback for takeout but if you’re within five minutes of China One it should be on your takeout list.

I paid 2 roasted ducks 96 dollars..very excited to look forward.
Oh my goodness..the ducks looked half roasted..the color still pale. I really don’t know how to describe it.
If you can’t do it right..don’t do it.
Total disappointed. Will not come back again.

Food was disgusting. Ordered general Tao’s chicken and there was no spicy seasoning. It was not really sweet either. The chicken had a bad taste and the breading was soggy. General Tao’s chicken is supposed to be sweet and spicy. Lady that answered phone could not speak English and told her I wanted it to be spicy because last time it was not spicy either. She was not able to communicate or understand. These restaurants charge you crazy prices and you throw the food in trash. Egg roll tastes strong and was not eatable. Won’t waste my money again.

Not the food quality I’m accustomed to. The yellow ‘fried rice’ had the frozen carrots/pea mix stirred in. The lobster sauce was a cornstarch gelatin based broth that had no flavor and cheapened out with egg stirred in like egg drop soup, and again the frozen carrots/pea mix stirred in. The Genl Gau ‘chicken’ pieces seem to be mostly fried dough with a morsel of chicken inside. The one redeeming dish was the dumplings that seemed to be homemade, quite delicious.

I moved to FL from up north like 11 years ago. The crag ragoon in fl has never been up to par. This place however is the only place ive been to in 11 years where they are like the ones ive grown up eating. They aren’t the small little triangles its literally the best ragoon around. I went 11 years disliking one of my favorite take out foods until i found this place! Ive ordered honey and sesame chicken from here also and it was amazing.
