China moon is the best Chinese buffet… no the best Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. I mean china moon is a restaurant that I will wake up in a cold sweat in 30 years and crave. Everything about their food is perfect. I no longer live in Madison, but if anything ever happens to China moon, the city is doomed.

Looks like, based on the condition of the restaurant, that they have given up. Food was lukewarm at best. Decor is very odd and no service at all. Drove 20 minutes, won’t be back in the future.

They are doing a really good job with the pandemic. They have a whole plexiglass wall with a slot for cash and a hole for your food. It’s nice to see a business that really takes the virus seriously and still manages to offer amazing service.

I ordered General Two’s Chicken with fried rice fried cheese wontons w/ red sauce. . My chicken had this nasty sauce all over with two pieces of broccoli drenched in this sauce. I also had a pint of white rice separately . I had driven away otherwise I would have taken this bs back . It was the worst $24 meal I’ve ever received. My cheese wontons where not fried enough. I would not recommend this Chinese place to anyone. The place was clean and no one was at the buffet that should of been my warning.

Decided to drive to Madison from Sioux Falls, and check out the buffet, arrived and went in to find a sign saying “No Debit Cards, No Credit Cards” and had no cash in my pocket, the ATM machines at the 2 banks wouldn’t give me cash on either of my cards being Saturday Afternoon. Long drive for nothing. Looked like a small buffet, nobody else was there. You decide but you better carry cash with you. Needless to say I was surprised in this day and age.
