We ordered 8 dishes and the food was absolutely stellar. Probably top 3 Chinese restaurants I’ve had.
The flavors, perfect, the meats were all good cuts (the pork fried rice had nice big chunks of lean pork). The only thing I would pick at is there was a little too much oil in the Singapore mei fun, for my taste. But still delicious. I loved the thin sliced beef in the Singapore noodles.

I am seeing reviews from one end of the spectrum to the other. I am picky about Chinese food and always special order everything, The gal taking my order could not have been more friendly or accommodating by adding onion to my rice and putting sauces on the side. My food was hot, fresh and delicious. The Shrimp Tso was incredible and they always give you enough for two meals. If you haven’t tried the Crispy Beef or Chicken, do, it’s sooooo good. And the Crab Rangoon and Egg Foo Young, to me, is better than any other place around. China Kitchen is now my new and only place to go for awesome Chinese cuisine. CvC

Ordered egg drop soup and shrimp fried rice everything was PIPING hot. I’m very picky about where I eat and this was a Great first experience would recommend.

Entrees are some of the best in RVA in my opinion but the fried rice can be a bit greasy some times and the egg roll is wayyyy too mushy. I usually go for egg rolls over spring rolls but not here unfortunately. However I’d rather order amazing entrees like general tso chicken/beef and broccoli and opt in for the soup or spring roll than order somewhere else for a good egg roll but the entree itself is mediocre. The hours are a bit inconvenient but hey just got to catch them when they’re open. I’d recommend this takeout but would be mindful of the store hours and egg rolls

Working in the area and drove past this place for a year thinking it was closed indefinitely. No open sign etc etc. When you enter the restaurant you’re greeted with a chair that holds a sign saying “Take out only!” Which was ok being I had planned to order take out. The restaurant had no way to order on line that I could find, so you’ll need to call or order in person. I ordered something simple since this was my first time ordering from here. Fried Dumpling, Shrimp Fried Rice & a Egg Roll for $19.00 They brought the food out to my car in about 20min. Sorry to have to say that the food was edible but not very good. The dumpling had a weird looking mystery meat inside much like the frozen pot stickers you can find in almost any store. The shrimp fried rice was bland and boring, a mix of rice, egg, green onion, shrimp and soy sauce. The egg roll was mushy inside and also reminded me of the same kind you can find in most stores. I won’t eat here again.

Oh my goodness, the fresh cooked chicken was amazing (General Tso’s). Grand portions, and so tasty.

The sesame and orange chicken tasted amazing! Everything was fresh and very hot! The spring rolls were good. Only complaint would be the Crab Rangoons were over cooked, too brown and hard.
