I came in for take away and was very pleased with my lunch special. Service was quick, meal was made to order, and the Hunan beef was very tasty. Right now, they’re only doing take away, but as I did, you can eat outside in the outdoor seating if you wouldn’t like to go far. They have a good selection of authentic Chinese and Cantonese, and very quality as well. Would highly recommend support one of the few local businesses in the Cascades plaza, cheers.

The General Tso’s was pretty bland. It wasn’t gross or inedible it just isn’t what you normally would expect when ordering General Tso’s. The chicken chunks were giant. I didn’t mind it, but the rest of the family said it was slimy. Fried rice was good.

Great and fast service, ordered thru the phone for pick up. The lady who answered the phone was polite, order was ready in less than 15 minutes. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was in good portion, tasted great and on the healthy side. For less than ten bucks, that’s hard to beat. Will return to try other items. Parking in the front can be an issue sometimes, but lots of space behind the restaurant.

My family and I have been coming here since originally opened so needless to say, I feel qualified to review China King. This has never been “the best Chinese food in town” type of place but has always been consistent. After moving away from the area and recently visiting, I thought I’d get my usual Chinese comfort food. I placed my order of chicken and vegetables for pick-up via phone and was SHOCKED when she said my order would be ready in 5 minutes. Although I can appreciate the low wait time, that tells me the food is not made fresh- disappointing. From entering the store, I immediately noticed their online menu prices are different than in-store. The online menu needs to be updated as the prices are listed cheaper (about $1 or so cheaper). I was pleased with the portion sizes. It is a consistent theme that the food lacked flavor. The fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce squeezed on top and most of the vegetables were clearly canned. After tip, I spent a little over $10. Will I come back here? Maybe. I am a loyal customer but did not enjoy the quality of food for the price.

The employees are very courteous and professional at what they do! The food is very tasty and succulent to say the least! The only flaw that I see here is that the restrooms are not open, for those who are waiting on their orders! And, they use Styrofoam boxes, which allow the food juices to spill out into the plastic bag! I have been at other Chinese restaurant, where they use plastic containers with lids that secure the food and juices together without spilling!

My food was absolutely disgusting. I order sesame chicken and veggie lo mein from Chinese restaurants and I’ve never had one with such subpar quality and taste. The veggie lo mein tasted like they opened up canned veggies and dumbed them right on top of noodles with no sauce or any type of flavoring. It was so dry. Gross. The sesame chicken was dry, and I mean beyond dry. the white rice tasted like it was made in a bag in the microwave then stuffed into a styrofoam container. Absolutely gross. This was the worst sesame chicken I have ever had in all my life. Don’t spend the money at this restaurant. Go else where. It’s overpriced and subpar.

This place used to be great in the past but over time quality and, what is more important, consistency of food kept declining. Today’s order of “Shredded pork in garlic sauce” (their regular item #42) was probably the last drop in my latest attempts to order food from them. The end result of my order was, what appeared to be chicken (instead of pork) in no sauce at all and was absolutely unseasoned and teste-less while it is marked as “Hot & Spicy” menu item. There was zero spiciness or even taste to the dish I’ve got from them today. Total and final disappointment at the quality and consistency of the food here. There are better Asian food places around but I just kept giving them another chance after two previous sad and taste-less orders at China King. Not going back there again.

Too hectic to have much of a great first impression for me. Never got my food due to people constantly cutting in line for take out. It seems popular but just not right for me. I will never go back. They need to fix how they serve people picking up food in this post Covid world. I wish them continued good fortune.
