My boyfriend and I came out here to eat, we were most pleasantly surprised the food amazing the coconut chicken AMAZING and out waitress Rayne absolutely sweet, refilled glasses took plates and silverware and a very overall great and bubbly personality. If you go out definitely get her section fantastic!

I’ve came here twice since they’ve opened and this far the food was a little disappointing…. Even with the food being so so the service I received was absolutely amazing! Although things were a bit hectic my server Rayne gave excellent service and helped us every step of the way! Serving me with a smile bright enough to light the world. What she didn’t know is I was having a bad day and her good service, patience, and enthusiasm made my day! A smile goes a long way! So thank you Rayne for making my experience amazing!

What food they had was cold and nasty. I am feeling sick on my stomach as I write this post. My wifes cup was dirty. I was there 20 minutes no new food was brought out. I forced my self to eat 2 chicken on a stick. Everything else I tried I had to spit back out into a napkin. I should have walked out as soon as I saw buffet. I went up to pay before the server even brought bill. Server couldn’t understand when I tried to tell them cup was dirty. When I told cashier food was no good she asked if I wanted to take some with me. I requested a refund and she told me they were not restocking bar as it was getting close to closing. They Close at 9 I arrived at 7:23 I paid and left at 7:48. If I wanted to order a specific meal I would not have went to a Buffet. Isn’t Buffet food supposed to be discarded after a certain period of time. Total Cost of Meal 2 Buffets 1 Soft drink 1 water no refills were given.

Came in around 7pm on a Thursday. I Managed to get enough for one plate. They kept seating people even though there was no food. I asked if they could put out more of certain dishes and said they would but it never happened. Waste of money and food was subpar at best.

Saftey measures set in place. Hand sanitizer and gloves at the Buffet. Tables social distanced and plastic dividers placed between boiths. Staff wore their masks. Great food as well grwat waitress. This place gets a 5 star!

Food is really good and atmosphere is nice. Love the ceiling. Went there with a party of 8 people. My husband likes the grill in the back of the restaurant. You pick out what you want and they will cook to serve. One of my family members noticed their sanitation grade which was a “B”. We were really shocked but it makes me wonder why it was low. Yikes!!! Plus another thing that was bothersome is the staff shouting at each other from across the room. Extremely loud and unnecessary!

Last year this place was decent, but since it reopened it’s got way worse. It was 40 dollars for 2 people just getting buffet? It’s SUPER hot in the building. We haven’t got refills until we asked for them. The food is just not good quality. I guess you would expect that, but it’s not worth the price. The deserts are still in aluminum pans and just sat there and there is a decent amount to choose from but again like the other food, nothing good enough to charge 20 dollars a person. And it isn’t even Chinese food honestly it’s just a bunch of random stuff. Also while getting food at the buffet, the cooks would shove past you or be all up in your personal space.

My family and I would eat here about once a month when it was China King and absolutely loved the buffet we would usually get a takeout container but today we decided to go and sit down and eat and did not realize it was under new owners. We wanted to warn everybody that it is nowhere near the same as it was. The food is not good at all we paid over $30 for two buffets ended up walking out with are Plates Full left on the table because everything we tried was disgusting. I honestly could not say one thing that was good. We basically just threw away $30 and we will not be back because it was just nasty

I’m not sure how a buffet place could be worse than China King which was in this location previously, but Atlantic Country Buffet is somehow far worse. No AC in the building and it was smoldering hot. The food was bad. Real bad. Nothing had labels on it indicating what you were eating. It’s a weird mix of “soul food” and Chinese, and everything I tasted was bland or just plain gross. Even the hibachi bar is a downgrade, and I wasn’t near brave enough to try the sushi. We were probably there an hour and never once was offered a refill on our drinks. When they brought us our sweet teas initially, we had to ask for a cup of ice because they poured hot tea over barely any ice. The plates are near ground level by your feet, so people with long hair have to bend down at the buffet to pick up a plate. Good chance that their hair ends up in your food. The only people who will enjoy this place are obese people looking for quanity over quality. It’s just not a good restaurant and it was $50 dollars for 2 buffets and 2 teas. It honestly wasn’t worth even $20 for both. If you want “Chinese buffet” do yourself a favor and drive to Hickory

We have been coming here for about two years. Today was the first time back since the remodel. I don’t do well with change and feared what it would bring here. First, the staff was so kind and polite. Everyone smiled and spoke with a pleasant tone. I drink tea like a machine and was refilled constantly, actually more than adequately. I ate six plates and only because I couldn’t eat more, I stopped. I enjoyed it very much. The ginger chicken was the best that I’ve ever had. Thanx for a good experience. I’ll be back.
