I’ve been coming to the Springfield area for about 30 years and have never really tried to find a good Chinese food spot. This was fun, quick, easy and affordable. My food was hot. Fresh vegetables were crunchy chicken was cooked. My soup was tasty, but not too spicy. I definitely will give this another try! I had broccoli, chicken and broccoli was crispy. I found a few extra carrots in there which I love and they were also nicely done. Everything was moist and tender. I went to the one on Republic because the restaurant reviews were better for here. I’m eating a really late lunch and they are still doing a pretty constant takeout business. I consider that a good sign too. My lunch today with $8.11. I did not get a drink out of the fountain just water. And if you’re a water connoisseur, this water tasted good not weird no aftertaste.

We came here on a date night. I ordered the coconut chicken, it was amazing and tender. My bf ordered the sesame chicken. It was so over cooked it wasn’t chewable. He tried to break it open and just eat the middle. The meat looked like it was so overcooked the meat was tough chewy and dark brown and hard. The waitress argued that was normal bc it was deep fried chicken. so I asked her to touch it and feel how rock hard it was and she said she can’t. So she remade one for us in a “small snack size” she called it. So we paid for a large and couldn’t eat it. They argued with us and remade a small? I was a waitress for six years. I know that is wrong. I probably won’t come back just bc she didn’t believe us and couldnt see how hard the meat was and argued.

The house fried rice is the best thing on the menu. The general’s chicken is incredibly spicy. The cashew chicken sauce is more like gelatin. The wontons are pretty good but the sweet and sour is just bland.

Hands down the best Chinese food place in Springfield. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon are the premium items and not that kraft foods Chinese apps that you can find elsewhere. Big egg rolls with actual ingredients that don’t appear blended or chopped to fit into the roll. No judgement if you like those but this place has the big and good kind. The crab Rangoon are actual 4 “arm” crab Rangoon and not that wonton with cream cheese that other places have.

Great Chinese joint! Did a grubhub order and the Cashew Chicken and Garlic Chicken were amazing. They even put the cashew sauce on the side to keep the chicken from getting soggy. Food was hot, tasted great, and we will be ordering from them again soon!

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! We’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant close to us and this is the best by far. Portion sizes are huge and the flavor is amazing. We had enough for leftovers the next day. My husband declared the egg rolls were the best he’s had in a very long time.
