1 mile down the road from Honor Church sits this quaint little Chinese restaurant next-door to Brooklyn bagel Company. I was struck immediately by the instrumental Christian music playing over the PA system, which was calming and appropriate. The lady who greeted me at the counter, seemed to know everyone in the restaurant and they treated her like she was their adopted aunt and she treated everyone, including us, like family. Customers were actively trying to clean up their own messes out of respect for the establishment, which lets you know these are repeat guests in an environment that they love.
My daughter and I shared a lunch special which was reasonably priced and the portions were nice. I know I’m a bit of a rice snob so I’ll say that it was good but not great… everything else we had was excellent.
It wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t especially clean, which is probably indicative of the lunch rush, which we followed. I really appreciated that someone who came in to pick up their order late was told as they walked in that their food was cold at this point and that they could take it now or wait a few minutes for a fresh batch to be made.
This will definitely be an after church spot for us moving forward and one that I would recommend to you and your family.

I LOVE this place! These folks used to have their business near where I worked as a teacher, and when they moved I looked all over but could not fond them again. Today, I found them again…happy, happy! The BEST fried rice everrrr!

New favorite local Chinese spot, I always get the bourbon chicken lunch/ dinner combo as their’s is pretty good. Affordable prices, generous portions, friendly service, and the food is fresh every time. I personally don’t care too much for soup or egg rolls but they’ve always been able to swap it out for more of their fried rice which is pretty good so that’s also a plus.

It’s not a hole-in-the-wall per se – even though the bathroom gives off Tuberculosis vibes. But real talk though…I can only vouch for the whole chicken wings. Crispy. Juicy. Flavorful. Not pumped with steroids. Your favorite wing place has got nothing of these. If I wasn’t a prime candidate for a myocardial infarction due to longstanding coronary atherosclerosis, I’d eat these wings at least 4 times a week.

We used to love ordering from here, but the last two times including tonight have been horrible. They need to turn off uber/online orders, because it’s clear they cannot handle the volume. Last two times we have waited over an hour for our food past when it was supposed to be ready. I just tried to call them to see how much longer, because I’ve gone through three uber eats drivers who have given up on waiting. They disconnected their phone….While their food was higher quality than Cheng’s, the wait time is ridiculous so we’re going to find another Chinese place.
Edit: The response from the owner is incorrect. Three different drivers were assigned, and they all waited so long they gave up! They were just sitting there waiting, I saw it in the app. And the restaurant disconnected their phone so when I tried to call to see what the problem was, the line was disconnected.

Been to this place multiple times and the food is great but there’s just too many issues.
1. don’t try to place a phone call for a custom order. I’ve tried ordering a simple tofu broccoli and the “representative” can’t even place the order because it’s outside of her menu (they’re using some kind of 3rd party to take phone orders)
2. I asked for 4 hot sauce packets (since they don’t just have it out in the open like most places) the response I got was along the lines of
“Oh no that’s too much you get 3”
3. I specifically ordered a tofu and broccoli with regular fried rice (i mentioned this twice and on the second time I said vegetable fried rice) get home and guess what? It’s pork fried rice. Now I’m annoyed because you call the number you get this representative that then takes your number that then they pass to the restaurant that then calls you back. And here the lady is telling me that I said pork fried rice when I clearly said it twice and again if I wanted pork fried rice why would I get a tofu and broccoli. Proceeds to tell me that no I said pork fried rice
4. Went to the bathroom no paper towels

If you want good food don’t get me wrong they’ll do it right but make sure to check your order.

We have been a frequent customer through door dash and order over 100 dollars each order. Never had an issue. tonight we places our regular order .. didn’t give it a second thought after 35 minutes went to look at status and saw a driver was waiting for order. the next thing we see after 10 more minutes was the store canceled order,, When i called the manager said she canceled because DoorDash had a promotion on our order and she refused to accept the order with a 15.00 discount. She canceled our order with no warning! because of 15 dollars. after confirming the order to begin with. DO NOT ORDER FROM RESTRUANT LIKE THIS. would rather lose a good customer to a 15 dollar discount and refuse to give a sensible answer or reason. SHAME ON THIS RESTAURANT>

Food is the worst I’ve had. Hot and sour soup taste like straight up vinegar and water. Soup is very watery and sour. Boneless rib is so dry. Taste like pork jerky. Looks like it’s been sitting in frig for weeks and they just add sauce to it. Food went into the trash ! I don’t know how they stay in business.

I ordered from this restaurant several times through door dash and each time no issue. They offered me a 15$ coupon ON THE APP I used it and they canceled my order. So if you THINK your getting a coupon then your not because they won’t let you use it. When I called them to ask why they said a manager would call me never did so I called back and the “manager” I assume said “I told you call door dash” I told her no you never told me anything because you never called me! She proceeded to repeat her self several times. ABSOLUTE WORST service but I guess that’s what you get for trying to use the COUPON YOU GAVE ME

It goes without saying that everything looks like a clean and beautiful Chinese restaurant. The service bell service is also very good. The table is fast, the food is served quickly, and the food is delivered to the location. The welcoming attitude and service attitude are also good. Delicious food and wisdom are still another good experience of the year! But next time I want to order shrimp and noodles.
