China House Buffet is a tasty stop that offers variety and value. Service was better the first time I ate there than the second, but it has a family-owned feel with gracious hosting. The buffet offers seafood, meats, sushi, rangoons, dessert, and more. We enjoyed the ample selection and left stuffed.

Allow me to preface this with: I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS (but, this needs said so that you dont get your hopes up, like I did). I regret my first restaurant review.
Waiter was very attentive. I appreciated that.
But, that was without a doubt the very worst chinese buffet that I have ever been to.
•Shockingly bad•
– Terrible limited selection.
– Cold selection that should be hot.
– Old selection all scraped together in a pile in the center of the steam pan like leftovers. The noodles looked like garbage. Or, scraped off of someone else’s plate.
All of this at 7p.
This disappoints me because I will be here working for next two months. I thought that it would be my regular stop.
I have owned restaurants (plural). I hope that they make it.

One of the best experiences I have had with Chinese Food. They were basically closing and were willing to take me and my family in and they literally made us extra food like General tso chicken and green beans they even brought it to my table I was so pleased and they are literally the nicest people ever very tentative! Please support this amazing gem!

The food and variety is exactly what you want want from a Chinese buffet. There’s VERY few buffet style restaurants I will eat at, but this is one of the exceptions. My personal favorites are the pot stickers, string beans, and Japanese style chicken. They various homemade desserts and there’s also a cooler with ice cream/sherbet in the back. I generally don’t eat those, but it’s nice they offer it.
The employees are friendly and the interior is kept clean and orderly.

Was about 10 hours in to a road trip and we wanted some Chinese for lunch. Some of the other reviews had me a little sceptical, but China House did not disappoint, and if you’re similarly looking for a place to stop, it’s a solid pick.
Everything was clean, our server quickly refilled drinks and had no problem removing one person from the bill when we said that they didn’t have anything to eat (not many options at any China buffet for a vegetarian).
Although it’s not the largest buffet I’ve been to, they had pleanty of options with lots of flavor, and were quick to refill pans as they got low, so no one had a problem getting 2 plates of different items.
Bonus points for being across the street from Walmart, so our vegetarian was able to get a fruit bowl and we could resupply some snacks just across the street.

Soggy breading on the orange chicken, crab rangoons need sauce to be edible but the sauce is bad too.. I usually pride myself in enjoying mid grade Chinese food but this was the worst order i have ever had. The entire bag went straight to the trash unfortunately.

I went around 630pm for dinner. There were several vehicles in the parking lot, so I assumed that meant the buffet would be fresh & full. It was cold & almost clamy feeling once I sat down. There was so much water/moisture inside the window & perimeter from condensation, I’m guessing? The buffet was full, & seemed fresh for the most part. I tried 2 kinds of chicken, one was the General’s, & the other was Hibachi. After one big piece of each, I felt like neither were cooked enough because they were both squishy-like. I tried smaller pieces but just couldn’t do it after that, I was afraid of eating undercooked chicken & getting sick. The cabbage, green beans, & seafood crab melt casserole were all good. There was a cooler with individual cups of chocolate, vanilla, & strawberry ice cream; the strawberry was good. I looked around every buffet station but did not see a single bowl, only plates. I wanted a bowl to put my rice in separately but had to use another plate instead, which was fine, except my rice got cold very quickly. My total was more than $13 with tax, so I’m guessing the buffet was $12.99 since I got water to drink.
