China Gardens is alright when it comes to Chinese buffet. There isn’t that much variety there compared to other buffets. Most of the time, there is barely anyone there. I do love their chow mein.

Food was cold/Luke warm. I asked for a manager, was told they don’t speak English an wouldn’t understand any way. The cashier seemed to have an attitude when I paid for my companion due to my complaint. I do not eat unsafe food. I do not like being sick!

The food taste like it was sitting there all day or was leftover from the day before. Chicken was so dry it was like eating sawdust. Everything was way too salty. The only thing that was good was the fresh egg rolls that they put out. Waste of my time and money.

Service is great but sometimes cold and rigid, depends on who serves you. The owner is awesome and a couple of the waitresses too. Food is great as always, yeah I’m a regular. They can use a few more options on the bar though. No complaints altogether.

me and my family were visiting thibodaux for a couple days, i went get us some supper from here and was initially surprised at the price, $50 for 3 plate lunches when in lafayette we normally pay $30. got back to the hotel, food was disgusting and had multiple hairs in it. brought the food back to show them and asked for a refund, i was denied. lost $50 for nothing.

The food was delicious. Very authentic Chinese food. There were many many dishes to choose from too. There was a buffet for lunch. Lots of vegetable dishes as well as meat. The atmosphere was nice. They had some Chinese decor. If I could make a suggestion. I would suggest more Chinese decor everywhere and to also spruce up those bathrooms. Overall I liked it and I will go back and I will recommend it to others. Sweet tea was very good too. Waitress was very nice too.

Should have taken notice with very few patrons eating in.
Some of the dishes that should have been hot were cold.
One pan of noodles had a boiled fish taste, yet that was not offered on the buffet tables.
Was asked if all was still good, I replied “NO” several times as the server walked away. She said well hope it gets better, and never returned.
I got upset with manners and went to cashier to pay for 2 meals. I wrote on back of ticket that customer’s opinion matter. When asked for management, was told none there, was going to be cashier. I left still upset. I should have gone to Lin’s instead.
