Will never order from china garden in navan again. Terrible service. Horrible food. Wrong order and bad attitude when you complain. Was supposed to be salt n chilli ribs but chicken arrived. Chicken balls were dry like cardboard. Lesson learned.

Went in to collect my food at 20:30, place was packed, wow I thought, food must be great.. what a disappointment, Ribs were cold and tough, Beef in the black pepper was chewy,luke warm, satay tasted like gravy and was cold, the biggest waste of €50.40 I have spent this year..I won’t be back

Disappointed by my experience today with the China Garden. I placed an order for takeaway and hadn’t heard anything well after an hour had passed. We called back and the response was very rude and abrupt, but the speaker mentioned they were ready to send our meals. Another hour after we still hadn’t heard anything or received our food. I tried to call again but the line was “busy” each time I attempted to get in touch. We abandoned the idea of anything arriving after waiting over two hours. I know restaurants can be very busy and stressful but I felt it wasn’t right that we didn’t receive any response or communication, especially after we had been assured the delivery was on the way. It appears other reviews also highlight similar wait times and experiences when ordering takeaway, so I would advise anyone reading to avoid ordering from them.

Chicken and pineapple: Didn’t really feel anything special, sweet dish.

It’s good portion of variety Chinese food, love the duck spring roll and salt and pepper chicken.
It’s comfortable seat and oriented decorations, different atmosphere (feeling like in Beijing:-)
Great customer service, friendly and the price is affordable.
It’s better if you make a booking, eventhough it’s weekdays.

Wont be ordering from here again. Ordered a chicken chow mein and fried rice. It came after an hour and was stone cold. So rang and explained to the restaurant that the food was cold and they said they would send out a new order but they wanted the first order back. So I waited another hour for a new order and it was cold again. Wasn’t waiting another hour so it went straight in the bin. Had a toastie and tea for dinner.

First time going to china garden for a sit down meal, food was lovely, staff extremely friendly, atmosphere and decor fantastic, the only thing was we booked the table for 19:30pm and was waiting in the reception area 25/30mins to be seated.
