Very disappointing experience. They served food on styrofoam plates, not real dishes, which already set the tone. The food itself was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. To make it worse, they’ve apparently switched from real potato wedges to microwave french fries, which were awful.
The price was ridiculous—$55 for three people, plus a $5 tip, totaling $60 for food that wasn’t even decent. On top of that, the bathrooms were disgusting and the floors were dirty. The place was also completely empty, which honestly explains a lot.
Won’t be coming back. Huge drop in quality from what it used to be.

A lot of the food was cold. They did seem to be checking underneath the buffet to see what was happening but then just shrigged and went back to the kitchen. Left the lukewarm food on the buffet. They don’t have real plates for dine in anymore either so you’re paying $13 for cheap picnic plates. They also don’t have the boneless spare ribs anymore either. The server was nice but not enough to make up for food not being at temp.

I love it. I love this place and the people. Food is always great! Coming here is always a good time for me and my family, and it’s usually 7 or 8 of us, sometimes 9 or 10. I think my favorite dish is the spicy chicken, but the broccoli chicken is also very good, and the mushroom chicken, and black pepper chicken. Everything is so good.

Haven’t been to this place in a while but decided to go last night, will not be returning due to the fact that the food tasted like it had sat out all day, the only thing that was hot was the sweet and sour dipping sauce, everything else was barely above room temperature, then once we got home the fun began, my wife, my child, and myself all began to experience stomach pains and it continued into the night up until about 12 when we were all sicker than the time my grandpa caught me smoking and made me smoke 3 packs of cigarettes, I urge anyone to just make the extra 20 minute trip to highpoint.

Good buffet! The Only place I can find plain pepper chicken. Pretty good lunch price of $6.49 even though the buffet is small.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO….
My family and I have gone to this restaurant for years. The employees have always been very rude but we tried to ignore it. However, we will NEVER EVER, go back. I picked up three plates to go last Sunday. My granddaughter found a bug in her food. I took the box with the bug back to the restaurant. The lady I talked to half way apologized, saying they have people coming in and out and they cannot avoid something like that happening. She reached in the cash register and handed me a five dolor bill. I told her we had bought 3 plates and none of us had finished our meals after the bug was found. I told her the one plate cost more than five dollars. She was totally unmoved and didn’t offer any additional refund. I have included pictures of the bug.

Wow, this place. The Health Department needs to storm this place and shut it down IMMEDIATELY. I’m watching my roommate right now, doubled over in pain, alternating between freezing and burning up, he’s projectile vomited I don’t know how many times, everything below his waist seems to be swollen, and he has a really high fever (reading on that thing reads about 3° higher, don’t freak out)
This all kicked in about 30-45 minutes after he ate food from there which consisted of: Pepper Beef with Onions, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Plain Fried Rice.
First off, he couldn’t eat much at all of the Sweet and Sour Chicken or the Pepper Beef because most of it was so hard it was like chewing rocks. That probably saved me from having to call an ambulance to get him to the hospital. If he doesn’t improve and his temperature doesn’t start going down in a better way, I still might have to.
I don’t know if this place has cooks that don’t wash their hands after going #2, servers that blow their noses on the food because they get upset that they have to work there, or busboys that are teabagging the silverware, but this place is GOING TO KILL SOMEONE.
I’m really hoping that his body can fight this off and he’s okay in the morning. He got tickets and reserved and prepaid two nights for a hotel in Raleigh for some big event this weekend. Trust me, he will get this money back if he misses these events.
To the following people that have written reviews, Phoenix Rodarte, Correy Prince, Chris and Deaiah Bolz, Hannah C, Becca Jing, Jo Loflin, Offroad Sportz, Anita Jackson, Aiden King, and Dejavu, the food poisoning you (and your friends/loved ones) contracted is called STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS. Yes, the same bacteria that is MRSA if common antibiotics don’t kill it.
What does this mean? It means that since this place has been POISONING people for YEARS. There is a good probability that the STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS there is of the MRSA variety. I’m going to state this again, THEY ARE GOING TO OFF SOMEONE WITH THEIR FENCE CHICKEN.
I’ll be calling every single governmental health and restaurant related department I can find on Monday to do everything I can to prevent this from happening.

Great little local buffet. They tend to keep the food bar well supplied. Not as extensive of a selection, as some China buffets in High Point & Greensboro. Main negative comment is that the use MSG in the food. But food is pretty tasty. Service is self serve, except for your drink. Price is reasonable.
