Wish we had walked out before our order was done, after reading the most recent reviews. But we thought we would see… for almost $20 of food it was worth about $5-$8. The veggies were good and that was all… the wontons (if you can call them that) were nothing and the potstickers looked like the babies of regular sized pot stickers. Bathrooms don’t work. Our napkins, that we had to find on another table we’re from Subway and in the picture below I asked for water and got a extra small cup for snacks… funny thing was there were bigger one right next to the one she gave me. The portions were SUPER small… I know places are struggling but when you charge what you do please give some quality and quantity for the price. I would not return or recommend you spend your money here.

We have liked this restaurant in the past, but it seems to have gone down hill a bit since changing owners. Sometimes it’s the small things that matter. For instance, the dipping sauce you get with pot stickers come in these small clear containers. They now fill them with about 1/10 full. They gave us one container with each order. I called and brought this to their attention. Didn’t seem to care much. I suggested they just fill one container instead of giving us multiple containers with just a smidgen of sauce. I don’t think they got the concept. Now I know that the food matters more than small containers of sauce. But it can be indicative of the overall quality of the establishment in question. Like I said, sometimes it’s the small things.

Food was okay aside from won tons, there was nothing in them and they were hard and tiny.
But the reason I am even leaving a review is becase my whole family suffered food poisoning after eating the food. Everyone including my kids were up all night throwing up. I never leave reviews but wanted to warn others!! Definitely never ordering again and possibly has ruined Chinese food all together for me for a while

I love China Express! I live just a few minutes away from ’em, and I visit frequently. I’ve never had to wait more than ten minutes to pick up a call-in order. I usually order orange chicken, rice, and potstickers, and all are delicious! I’m sad to see such negative reviews, particularly the rude ones. I think the prices are fair, the speed is awesome, and the food is great!

After debating on whether or not to see the good reviews over the bad reviews of this place, I got take out from here and turns out it was the bad reviews that were right. Wontons were basically chips, nothing in them at all. Potstickers were a crunchy joke. I got general tso’s chicken and it was dry and soggy. My wife got the sweet and sour chicken and it was the same. I am currently sitting on the toilet writing this next morning experiencing food poisoning. Beware of this place and it’s food. And all this was 33 dollars which is way over priced for this experience.

This use to be a great place to get a quick meal, what happened to it?
A year ago, I would have given it 5 stars now 1 star seems extreme. They did not have any of the noodle dishes on the menu, and the chicken was DRY, chewing on leather would have more flavor.

Great owners, quaint place, but DELICIOUS Chinese food! I’m pretty picky, too. I don’t like super greasy, or bland flavors and this food had none of that! It was great! Spread the word about this great find! Quality is better than Panda Express. Pretty big portions. Well priced for what you get!

We used to love this place and it sounded so good, we haven’t had it in about a year. They changed their boxes to a smaller size, same price though. The sauce on the beef and broccoli was overpowering and made everything soggy, don’t think we will go back anytime soon. Super disappointed that it seems to have gone down hill.

Haven’t been there for a while. Menu has changed, ordered 5 items, Egg Rolls, Got Spring Rolls which was a huge price difference but yet, that were Soggy but burnt on the outside, Sweet and Sour Chicken that was Extremely Soggy(probably was reheated) Ham fried rice was Cold and hard.. Beef and broccoli was All vegetables and few pieces of meat, House Lo-Mien was Cold and not fresh, Plus, it was $55.00
Portions were Very small didn’t feed even 4 of us..
Sad, but, I’ll Drive North next time..

I originally rated this place 5 stars, me and my family ate here probably twice a month. I hear that it changed owners, but I’m not sure, all that I know is that this was once my favorite Chinese food in Utah county. The first time we got bland, tough, or burnt food, I brushed it off as a bad day in their kitchen. 3 times in a row the food was terrible and couldn’t even eat it. I feel bad that their quality control went out the windows, because I’m really going to miss the way it was before.
