I want to first say that the workers and employees were super nice, so I don’t like giving this review, but the experience at this restaurant food-wise was not good at all. I visited on a Sunday around 1:30 (it goes to 3) for the buffet while there and they never refilled any of the options even though there were quite a few people in there. So maybe what you order regularly would be good, but this day the buffet wasn’t good at all. There wasn’t much choice, the sweet and sour pork tasted really off, and the meat had been picked out of most of the rest of the choices. I won’t be returning here because the food just wasn’t good. I paid $13.00 for the buffet, and $3 for hot tea – wishing I hadn’t wasted that money 🙁

We got takeout first time since new owners was kind of worried after seeing bad reviews on different sites but thought what the heck, the lady taking our order was very easy to understand, easier than previous owners we got our food home and was really impressed and happy with it, we got more food than previously and it tasted better and the meats seemed better quality ( they did forget a egg roll) we used to spend over 50$+ cost us 35 as we didn’t order xtra meet what wr got was more than before. We will be going back for sure

Do not bother. Find somewhere else to eat. When we walked in at lunch time and the place was totally empty, we should have walked out. However, I have eaten at Chinese restaurants that do most of their business as carry out so I wasn’t overly concerned. That was not the case here. I don’t know how they are staying open as we were the only customers the whole time we were there. We ordered off the lunch menu. We both got hot and sour soup. It was the least flavorful hot and sour soup that we have ever had. It wasn’t terrible, just not flavorful. I ordered cashew chicken. The cook “forgot” to add any cashews. When I told the waitress that there were no cashews in my food she went to the kitchen, came back with a small dish of them and apologized. The other thing that was strange was that it had a sweet taste. I have never, ever had sweet cashew chicken. My husband got the sesame chicken and he said it was just ok. The fried rice was also extremely bland with just the very smallest bits of added vegetables. The eggrolls consisted almost entirely of the wrapper; there was practically no filling. I actually cut mine open length-wise to see what was inside because I couldn’t taste anything. There was a very, very small amount of cabbage and an even smaller amount of meat. All in all it was very, very unsatisfying and we left wondering if we would be sick later on. Luckily we did not have any illness later on, but I would not ever go back.

Worst Chinese I have ever had the Sesame Chicken is that Sesame and chicken no sauce no flavor.The yum yum sauce is NO NO sauce. The egg rolls are ok the rice was the best part bland. Was not impressed by the best Chinese food in Monroe County.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken (2 orders) paid $28 and change. Get home the soup is lunch size portion, the egg rolls are soggy, and we did not even receive our sweet and sour sauce at all!!!! I called to let her know we didn’t get our sauce she acted like she could care less. I said I just paid over $28 for sweet and sour chicken but get no sweet and sour sauce. She was very rude and said just come back and get it. I said what are you gonna do for my 15 minute trip back to correct your mistake… she said give you your sauce. I said I wouldn’t order there again if she didn’t care and she said ok whatever. No wander they never have any business there anymore. Bad food and bad customer service. Don’t waste your time.

Ordered Fortune Platter (Pupu Platter), said they were out….never told us however until we asked about it after receiving our meal. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken & received Honey Chicken (it was good though ). It said it came with veggies, and had ONE slice each of carrot, bell pepper & onion. I do have to say, it normally comes with dark meat (at this restaurant) & she did make it with white meat 😀 My husband got Empress Chicken & it was very good!! We were disappointed that there was not an option for brown rice as we can’t eat white rice. The sweet tea was good The lady waiting on us wasn’t very personable, but not unfriendly either. We’ll definitely go back.

Definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Servers were not friendly at all. Went in on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm. The selection at the buffet was next to nothing. All the food in the Buffett was way over cooked and the meats had very questionable tastes. I’m now hoping I don’t get sick from what I did eat. There was very little food in each dish and when they replenished the dish it was with only a few spoonfuls of overcooked, dried out food. The tiled sections of floor were so sticky it was difficult to walk around. I know this part is not that important but I always look forward to the fortune cookie at the end of my Chinese dinner. They charge 35 cents + tax for one cookie. That was the final straw for me.

(Edit 3/28/23) This place was good at one point, 2 years ago. Paid 28 bucks for chicken in garlic sauce, shrimp rice and egg soup. In total got 5 tiny pieces of chicken and no garlic(pretty much chicken kow) about 8 canned tiny shrimp and watery chicken base powder soup with hardly any egg, let alone any pepper. Poor is being nice. Yall have lost another customer, which shouldn’t surprise you. It’s a shame.
