One of the better Chinese takeouts in the Murrells Inlet area. It is in the Food Lion shopping center.
Tasty well presented and the place is clean. Food was a little on the spicy side but not crazy!!

Been eating here long before COVID and just how they nailed pick up during lock down they did as well with all my orders before and since then! They even make my egg drop spicy wonton combination soup at my request!! !

We were visiting from North Charleston and staying at the Country Club Villas in Surfside Beach and decided to order from China Chef. The customer service was amazing and the food was so delicious .It is a rarity to find fresh and delicious Chinese Food. The egg drop wonton soup was amazing.Crab Rangoon had fresh crab meat . Our family definitely plans to come back and visit Surfside Beach and when we do, China Chef will be the place to eat.☺️

My favorite Chinese food place was closed, but this one was a few minutes away so we decided to try it. Prices were reasonable for portions, and service was nice. We came and saw their dining room wasn’t open, so I ordered online and it was super straightforward. The food was ready within 20 minutes, which was pretty good. The food itself was a little lackluster. The chicken and broccoli I ate tasted a little strange. The wontons were also lacking in taste and filling. But, nonetheless, it scratched my itch for Chinese food, and I would not be opposed to coming here again.

The food wasn’t nasty. It was eatable. Some of my shrimp was a little nearly. They need to make sure that the shrimp are kept at the temperature it’s supposed to be the picture shows very thin noodles in the lo mein, but they are too thick.

A great place to get Chinese food! I would consider myself a regular there as I get their food some times once a week. I have tried many others in the area and they are one of my favorites and a go to when I need a good quick meal and am not feeling up to cooking. Great family owned and operated place.

I would not recommend this place. The fried rice had no egg no peas no carrots barely any onion, the boneless spare ribs were extremely dry and soaked in sauce. The wonton soup was decent the egg roll passable but very small

We only do delivery, so I can’t speak to the atmosphere, but the delivery service is excellent. We’re not in love with any other Chinese food restaurants but like this best. Excellent sreamed dumplings and I always enjoy their chicken and shrimp dishes. Very good Lo Mein. Skip the egg roll.

I’m always looking for good Chinese food, and my experience here was good. Small Chinese restaurant in a strip mall, about 6 tables, nothing fancy, typical menu. I tried the spring rolls, and they were blah. But the small wonton soup was delicious with several wantons in it. I also had the lunch portion of beef and broccoli, and that was delicious. The portion size was perfect for lunch.

My famil and I was visiting and wanted chinese. They have 4.3 stars but it must have been family posting these reviews. The food was TERRIBLE!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves, serving that food. Seasme chicken was old, wings was black. I spent $60 and I want all my money back and I gave a tip. We was so disappointed. We will NEVER eat here again. They should close down.
