A few days ago, we got Shrimp & Broccoli for lunch. It was perfect! Plenty of sauce, freshly cooked broccoli (only) and plenty of big freshly cooked shrimp. Saturday night we went by to get dinner-TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY! Shrimp and broccoli had other stuff in it, not as previous lunch..over cooked gushy vegetables and TONS of UNDER-cooked rice. 2nd dinner was supposed to be Shrimp & vegetables-not like the photo at allll. It had over half a cup of mushrooms, even more OVER-cooked gushy bell pepper, 2 smalll twigs of over-cooked broccoli and 2 pieces of carrots, VERRY little sauce, and TONS of UNDER-cooked rice. We also ordered 5 extra shrimp, which we clearly didn’t get..we only got 3. This is the 2nd time our dinner purchase was yuk!
We drove past 3 other Chinese restaurants coming to China Bob…next time we will stop at one them!

My fiance was trying to be nice and bring home food, my family up north normally has chinese food. He did correctly order everything, and then I went back when my sauces were missing, because I was mad he paid so much. The little long dark haired Latino girl laughed in my face when I had to drive back across town. My order she didn’t give the right sauces to was getting cold. Way to ruin my Christmas.

Went in and grabbed the Philly egg rolls and loved them. The garlic chicken was a little strong but still good. Mongolian beef was great. Kung pao chicken was just enough spicy

Food was pretty decent. The fried rice and the crab ragoon were really good. They have pretty good lunch deals between 10:00 and 3:00. During this time you can get 1 meat, fried rice (or noodles), egg roll, and soup for less than 7 bucks. It’s a great deal. They also have several other deals for times outside of those hours. The store itself was clean and there were no messes anywhere. The staff are quick and quiet.

Did a vall in order for 2 dishes. Ordered a large shrimp fried rice but got a small with only 5 shrimp and a plate full of rice. My sweet and sour chicken was cold.

If you ordering a take out. Open boxes and check the food before youl leave the place, because from my 4 dishes I had only one full, 3 other was only rice and noodles.

This our “go to” after discovering how good their food is, & the service also. They have hands down, the BEST CRAB RAGOONES than anyone!! I’ve been sick this week & all I have wanted was crab rationed from China Bob!! They are always friendly, clean, fast & the BEST TASTING & BEST QUALITY FOOD!!

Great food and good service! Beware if you order their food for delivery via Waitr or other food delivery services. They package their food in styrofoam plates for to go orders which sometimes results in the sauce leaking everywhere in the bag. Better to-go packaging (sealed containers) would alleviate this issue. But for dine in service, China Bob is the best in Tuscaloosa/Northport.
