Hidden gem with great taste and great value. We didn’t have a problem finding parking since we showed up shortly before they opened. But the parking lot is pretty small and there’s only about 5 tables inside, which is more like an enclosed patio. It’s definitely a great change from all the pricey restaurants on the west side. They have a separate area for take out which we considered since our hotel was nearby.

Out of the way WONDERFUL restaurant in Maui. On a lark while out driving seeing the sights, we stopped at China Boat for lunch. What a jewel – authentic, flavorful, Chinese food served fresh and hot! The hot and sour soup was delicious as was the Shrimp Mixed Vegetables and the Chicken Fried Rice. Our appetizers Vegetable Egg Rolls were also delicious and served piping hot. The dishes were served family style with simple dishware – perfect for lunch at their outdoor covered patio seating area The owner was so friendly, accommodating, lovely and personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!

Lovely gem of a place hidden off the main fairway. The staff are extremely accommodating and nice! We somehow ended up arriving 10 minutes before the lunch close and were allowed to dine in on the patio area instead of do takeout. (They close midday to reset for dinner.) Make sure to listen to the recommendations of the older lady as they were wonderful.
We had beef with broccoli and Mongolian beef, both great dishes! Utensils or chopsticks are available. The restaurant is still in takeout mode (from COVID times) so dining in will have plates alongside of the food in a take outbox — lots of food means some leftovers are inevitable — and the need to order a bottled water.

You would be remiss to dismiss your meal on a gem like this! You’ve got the wonderful Grace running the shop with her quick and efficient staff. The dining area is eclectic and gives me the vibes of a k drama where there’s just a uniqueness to it that you can’t find with main stream restaurants. The food was amazing, authentic wok cooked meals for our orders. Unlike a few places that we’ve gone to, the service and the food was crazy fast, crazy good. Grace and her husband Kai have set up the restaurant very efficiently where you phone orders and you have 5 tables at the restaurant. The place is SO good that for our four nights here in Maui, we HAD to go again!! We ordered the Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, DELICIOUS crispy wontons, and the mapo tofu and the braised tofu with mushrooms. My wife and I wish Grace and her crew all the best and to continue with their passion of cooking and success. Mahalo!!
Let’s go!!!

Had a quick dinner here and it was great! They are takeout only but have a small patio out front with seating that you can eat at. We were perfectly fine to take our boxes there ourselves but they served us our drinks, brought out plates and silverware and served the food when it was ready. The food we got was delicious and I’m sure the rest of the menu is too – highly recommend this lowkey spot for a relaxed meal!

Just like others said, they have really good food. (I’m Asian)
We had Kung Pao Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Shrimp with vegetables.
Everything was freshly made & had really good flavor.
Note that as of today, June 16, 2022 they only accept to-go orders / dining room is closed I’m assuming to prevent the spread of Covid & keep people safe.

This place is a hidden gem, with such friendly owners. Wonderful outdoor patio seating to accommodate visitors, while eating some absolutely delicious food.
We ordered King Pao tofu, sweet and sour chicken, fried shrimp, and chicken fried rice. It was some of the best, crispy, Chinese food I’ve every had. 10/10

My wife & I vacation on Maui & recently discovered this gem of a restaurant. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is a small & cozy Chinese restaurant which is located in an outdoor atmosphere but currently not seating inside due to Covid. The service & atmosphere is very tranquil, polite & catering by what seems to be a family run business. Grace was our waitress & she was polite, nice & very good hosting & providing your meal.
We had a very good Mai Tai cocktail which was great! The food is 100% authentic and day fresh. I liked the touch of a slightly fried steam dumpling which were delicious along with the excellent soup. We shared an order of Hawaii style coconut & pineapple shrimp also delicious.
The restaurant serves the food in containers which is OK with me and you conveniently helped or serve yourself. (Due to Covid prevention)
I am sure that the idea is to keep the meals at the tables sanitary. Remember, enter with an Aloha spirt you will be treated mutually. I saw a lot of families comfortably eating there. You can also order to go but we decided to enjoy the laidback atmosphere. My wife and I both give the place a 10+ & we have been to many Chinese restaurants. The atmosphere was relaxing and the prices were fair with a lot of leftovers.
I know we will be back next time we are in Maui. LOL, only wish they delivered to NY.. 😉

It’s recommended by local Chinese. I would say they are tasted relative authentic. A kind of Huai Nan Chinese cooking style, where is in the middle of China so combined half south and north taste of China. Even in China, it’s a very acceptable cooking cuisine to most of Chinese (China have at least 8 cuisine style, and sometime even hard to be acceptable by people not used to live with).
For foreigner, I would suggest to take the suggestion from waiter for choosing. But I would say, none of them is not delicious.
