I stumbled across this gem on the evening of the 4th of July. My mom was in the mood for seafood soup, and none of my main spots was open. So as I was at a stop light, I quickly googled the closest open spot, and China America Inn was the 1st in line. I didn’t even know this place was a place! And it’s close to home too!! It’s not a party place, so table seating is limited, BUT the food is so good you will want to take it home and devour it in your own comfort where you can relax afterward. I ordered 2 seafood soups, general tso, and buffalo wings. The man who took my order was super nice and informative about other options available. My mom LOVES the seafood soup!! the general tso was fantastic, well cooked and not hard, just like I want it. The wings were very flavorful as well. Thank you for making my mom happy!! She is very picky about how her seafood soup looks and tastes. She said 10 out of 10!! This is our new spot!!

Very surprised by this local Chinese restaurant! The food was tasty! The yellow fried rice reminded me of Philly or New York. That nasty brown fried rice I keep finding in Maryland is disgusting and I was so excited when I saw yellow fried rice at this restaurant!!! The shrimp fried rice was absolutely DIVINE as my daughter says. ☺️ Ate inside and the young gentlemen taking orders was very nice and courteous. I’m not going to waste gas driving all the way to Hyattsville anymore! This is my new local favorite!!
Pro Cook Tip (Complainers below): When eating outside, don’t order foods that can be pre-prepped days before or refrigerated a long time (basically, anything dipped in a batter). You will have a better experience.

When I order online, they never give me the sauces. I asked for I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken never received the rice. The chicken had no taste no flavor no salt no pepper. Nothing the sauce was chunky. It was in the fridge. Not even warm the sauce look like Jell-O was horrible

Well i ordered online because i don’t want the hart time with the miscommunication on my way the email me that they are busy my order is going to take few mim more. when i arrived the kid its packing my order i asked for mark the egg roll w/ shrimp because i al allergy and he do it, restaurant cleaning and personal polite and nice! However i don’t recommended bbq ribs the mine was chewed and not proper cooked for bbq i cooked again in my home and improved a little but i trashed any way don’t like it. The guy running the register was too busy yapping with a customer ahead of me and left part of my order out of the bag. I didn’t realize until I was home. I had to drive back in the snow storm to pick it up and I had ended up adding an appetizer as well. Nothing was comped. They couldn’t even deliver the missing part of my order. Been a customer for years but will now be going to Mandarin House instead. Their food is better anyway.
