It’s unfortunate to say this place has really gone down hill. I’ve been ordering from here for at least 10 years, probably longer, but it’s really been such a disappointment lately. It’s been on a downward trajectory for quite a while, but lately it has really accelerated that decline.
The fried rice is not good. It tastes like oil, and the “pork” is really off on the flavor – like it might by bad. There is no egg in the fried rice; only a little onion and really nothing else. It used to be if you didn’t want the pork in your fried rice, you could get vegetable fried rice instead. But when I recently got a lunch special and asked for vegetable fried rice (instead of the weird pork), it was a $2.xx upcharge, which they never mentioned, it was just on the bill.
The portions have shrunk significantly while the prices have gone up a lot. I get the whole inflation thing; everyone’s prices have gone up. It just seems like portion shrink is just too much for what I’m paying. For example, the lunch specials used to be very filling for a guy; now I’m left looking for more. The egg rolls used to be fairly large and delicious. The last few times, the egg rolls were really small like little spring rolls and half empty. Also, the price of something simple like a 4-piece crab Rangoon has become completely out of sync with the value.
The food quality is not great anymore. I already mentioned the poor quality fried rice and the half empty egg rolls. General Tso’s chicken is my go to, but it too has really gone down hill. It used to have small Tianjin hot peppers in the sauce, which added spice and flavor; those have been gone for years. They’ve been replaced by generic crushed red pepper flakes. It’s not terrible, but not that good either. It also doesn’t matter if you ask for it extra spicy or not, you’re getting the same thing regardless.
The last straw for me is that the place constantly smells so strongly of marijuana now. It’s not because it’s located two doors down from a dispensary. The odor is very strong like it is being smoked. If you want to do that, whatever, but it’s at least as off-putting as walking into a cigarette smoke filled place. It’s disgusting; I don’t want that around my food. I would suppose the health department has some rules about smoking marijuana around food preparation just like cigarettes; this place smells really strongly of pot.
On the bright side, they are pretty quick about getting the food ready, which is surprising given all the pot someone is smoking. The food is hot, and they consistently get the order right.

Ordered veggie fried rice no onions, 2 egg rolls, crab ragging.
20$ and the rice had nothing in it but bland rice. No veggies at all! Also the crab ragging was burnt. Worst food ever received from here.

They’re always so busy! Waiting for my food for 10 minutes, 4 different people came in and 2 people called. They had only been open for 10 minutes! They work very hard and have great food! Here’s a recent photo of their menu too with up to date prices.

Worst Chinese place I ever ordered from. They literally do not understand English and when you tell him you want plain fried rice with beef in it they give you crap fried rice which I’m highly allergic to I try to call the woman and explain it to her and she’s trying to tell me multiple times I didn’t order it when I specifically told her I’m allergic to crab raccoon and I cannot eat it. And then she kept arguing with me trying to tell me that’s what I ordered how can you tell somebody that’s what they ordered and you kept telling me when I was ordering over the phone you couldn’t understand me but you took my order anyway and had me pay for it. And the person I am I trust people when I order food and don’t look at it until I get home well that was the biggest mistake I ever made just wasted $11 down to dump plus $10 in gas to get there. Highly recommend that ordering from these people

Food was terrible. Shrimp with lobster sauce had carrots in it and tasted like a carrot soup. The sweet and sour chicken was so tough you couldn’t chew it. The egg drop soup had an off flavor to it. In my opinion if a Chinese restaurant has bad egg drop they have bad food and they did. Yuk

Ugh food was so good until I bit into a piece of metal from a metal sponge of some sort. I had cashew chicken with veggies. I understand accidents happen but that could of been my little one who bit into that and that’s what scares me the most. Have pictures of said piece of metal in food

I accidentally dropped the box of food while opening the car door. They were very nice to us and redid our order free of charge. Now THAT is above and beyond nice. Rare to find such decent people. Food was pretty good. Parents enjoyed it.
