1 adult, 2 children. Bill came up to $80 for Chinese! Why? Because the waitress added 18% gratuity onto our bill and thought I wouldn’t notice. After taking our order and bringing us the food, she never came back to the table. Had to flag her down to get the bill. The micro-aggressions were very loud when serving us. I’ve eaten here many of times over the last several years but recently switched to doing take out so it’s been awhile since I’ve dined inside the establishment. After my experience yesterday, I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.

Stopped here unintentionally after dentist appt. Looks nice inside & staff pleasant. I initially ordered 1 entree from lunch menu bt went crazy & ordered 3. I think the portions were OK bt not for $l5. Im only mkn this review bc the ALL the food was flavorless. Nothing even close to Thai flavor & the mongolian beef was watery. Look at the thai basil fried rice IT’S WHITE. I guess it’s disappointing bc I knw wht it shld taste like. Ordered: Spicy Basil Chicken & Shrimp, Thai Basil Fried Rice & Mongolian Beef. So kind d of egg roll came w/each entree. Tried 1 it was not freshly made, tuff & dough which is weird bc it was it was 1p…lunch time bt there wasn’t a crowd. Don’t recommend if you have favorite dishes & look for flavor

The American tradition of eating Chinese food onChristmas Day is practically sanctioned by Santa—right? Last year on Xmas day we managed to snag a table in the late afternoon and enjoyed our meal as we watched an endless line of customers arriving to pick-up take out orders. Makes sense, and the staff while somewhat frantic, managed to handle the wave of business fairly well.

Last week on Xmas day, however, is a much different story. When walking in the door about 7p to pick up To-Go order, I immediately noticed an elevated frantic and somewhat chaotic vibe. I noticed that one server alone was “briskly” moving from one table to take an order then to the next to clear for the next customers. There was nobody helping her take orders or bus tables. The pick-up line was almost completely out the door. What appeared to be the children of the owner (who I imagine was in the kitchen) were swarming around the register and attempting to gain control of the surge. I had already placed my order using DoorDash (yikes) and arrived after notification my order was ready for pick-up. It waasn’t. Almost 45min later I received the order and headed out.

To me, it seems apparent Chin Chin 2 is family owned and operated. Great.

What I don’t understand is how they become so overwhelmed on this one day of the year so notorious for a huge surge of business.

This year I decided to do take-out instead of dining in, mainly because I didn’t want to endure the chaos. Ironically, not more than 7m after getting in line to pick-up, 3-4 four top tables were emptied and remained so as I left.

Really wish there were other options for Chinese food on this side of town.

Delicious as always I used to eat them when I lived in Cobb county we would order it at the office. This is my first time trying to Ponce location and also ordering sushi from them. Who knew they would have some really delicious sushi! I highly recommend them especially when you’re trying to grab some decent Chinese food in Atlanta

I called in to place an order for pick up. I wanted to order shrimp fried rice and to my surprise, their shrimp fried rice does not come with onion in it. I’ve never heard of any Chinese restaurant that does not put onion in their fried rice so I asked her could I get onion and she said it would be two dollars extra For white onion and one dollar extra for green onion and if I want it both it would be three dollars! I feel like this is extreme price gouging! Let’s be honest one onion is not gonna cost you that price you’re just putting a tiny bit of onion in the rice. This is totally unnecessary! I felt cheated! Sorry, I canceled my order and I won’t be back!

Ordered house lomein and I didn’t enjoy it. I paid for it so I will eat it eventually but the meat tasted old and hard the shrimp is pre cooked separately it has a boiled flavor. Nothing was fresh and it’s a shame because I paid 30$ for this but oh well…

Customer service was really great! The crab ragoons were the best I’ve had (they were full) they were superb the baby moon roll also the best I’ve had the spicy mayo popped off. I loved the sesame chicken we both subbed noodles for rice, the noodles were a lil bland on their own but they went really well with our main courses. My partners generals tsos was great loved the peppers a lil spice but not over bearing full of flavor. It is a little expensive but we had enough left iver to eat for late night snack. 2 people could easily share one main dish together. We will definitely be back ❤️
