Food- To be honest I wasn’t expecting much coming here because its just chicken. But these wings are so good. The fried chicken skin, the sauce, the meat, everything was perfect. I downed those wings in seconds.
I also got a side of rice and it was good as well. I think for $2 you get a really good amount of rice.

The cashier Jake really contributed to my pleasant experience. I was unsure whether or not to get plain rice or try the rice king with my spicy popcorn shrimp, and he really sold me on the rice king. Excellent food, and excellent service. Very welcoming atmosphere.

The cashier (Bridgette) was very friendly and helpful. I have an allergy to pepper and she was able to help me find menu items that were not marinated overnight in what is likely a delicious marinade that I am unable to try. The popcorn Chicken was very flavorful, the spring rolls were delicious, and I really enjoyed the Orchard Pacific Berry beer they had on tap. The popcorn Chicken came with some pickled radish that was really good as well. They have a wide selection of Ramen that I plan to bring my son to try out. He will have to tell me how good the over night marinated chicken is as well. Everything I tried was very good and the meal was affordable. I will definitely return and will bring my family next time.

This is my first time eating here. I just ordered the Rice King with Garlic Soy Chicken.
Just a heads up – there was no actual chicken in the bowl – just fry batter.
I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review for a restaurant, but this is the worst “chicken” I’ve had in Portland. Do yourselves a favor and get fried birds literally anywhere else.

The food was amazing! Super crispy, juicy chicken with a soy garlic sauce that avoids being too sweet! For a side I got the king rice, which had seaweed and sesame oil, and highly recommend getting that if you want rice with your meal over fries.
Service was helpful and pleasant and I loved sitting and watching Sailor moon while I ate! I was super hungry and forgot to take a picture of my meal, but here’s a pic of my takeout container because the portions were super generous and I had to take some home!

On top of the food being amazing, if you eat-in, they serve you, and the food is plated in a really nice way! The employees we interacted with were so nice!!! (Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food/presentation, we were too busy shoving the delicious food in our faces) but the food was amazing, chicken was crispy and the soy garlic flavor was very pleasant, fries were thick and crispy, and the sauces were a good match. Will definitely be returning!

Parking on Sandy is a bit rough but luckily there was a spot right up front for us.
The place is clean. I liked the Korean music they played and enjoyed the anime playing on their TVs too.
It’s a counter service, bus your own tables kind of establishment.
The food was good and fresh, and didn’t take long like other reviewers have said. But when we went, there was only one other couple there ahead of us. The extra-hot flavor was really good.
Overall, I would come back! I could see us bringing some more people along to eat and just chill and drink.

Working in restaurant management, and having worked in the food industry for the better part of 20 years, this place has some tremendous items, but also takes shortcuts and heavily price gouges, topped off by false advertisements
For example, their chicken sandwich is two boneless wings between two pieces of bread, nothing more. Their wings are served at 1.50 a piece, which puts the price at about 3.50, including. 50 for the bread, theu serve it at 7.00.
Their popcorn chicken bowl is tremendous, but it sells for 14.00, while it is not pop corn chicken, just cupboard scraps. Meaning the total cost comes to about 2.00 for them, wiry how cheap rice is, but 14.00 to everyone else
There needs to be some control to price gouging. So, decent place, but an absolute rop off and a scam

Nothing to write home about. Ordered boneless wings and popcorn shrimp. Wings were very chewy, stringy meat. The flavor was good, just so chewy!
The popcorn shrimp wasn’t really popcorn, it was almost like tempura covered in spicy sauce. Tasty, but nothing great.
Service was great though!
