Went here due to having a bad experience in different branch but just goes to show what this franchise is like as whole was in here ordered food sat down to then have someone else’s left overs next to me the whole time I ate my fresh food. Honestly I’m just being honest. The buzz of the store was a real appeal factor, but people don’t let that always lead you on man, I learnt that today. From the get go, it was so busy, it felt like I was in a queue of a rave that I tried getting out of, but kept getting pushed back inside.
I ordered the Godzilla burger – off the recommendation of the brother on the till, a Philly cheese steak rice box, 5 wings (hot + lemon & herb – another recommendation).
It was all going well even the smell from the bag was giving us high hopes. But the food really isn’t all that.
Looks nice, but it’s a disappointment every bite you took. No real flavour from the burger, yes the chilos sauce is nice but it just didn’t hit that palate spot. Wings were something else, not even sure if it was chicken at some point. And the rice box, like it was good to look at again, then you realise it’s a bunch of cheese with loads of rice and a bit of chewy meat. Don’t recommend that.
All in all, it was okay, a 2.5/5 – due to the service of a brother at the till. But the food, it could be better.

Absolutely loved my meal at Chillos, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Burger and it was incredible, crispy, juicy and full of flavour. The spice was just right and the burger was cooked perfectly. It was quite crowded when I went, but honestly worth the wait. The food is halal which made it even better. The fries were fresh and crunchy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great spot if you fancy something bold and tasty. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Ordered 2 philly cheesesteak sandwiches, one sandwich meat was fine and soft, the other was very chewy. Not too sure what the difference is but its absolutely ridiculous, paying a high value and you would expect quality to be good.

I went to Chilo’s for lunch today and was not disappointed. There’s plenty on the menu to choose from and I decided to go with the Big Bang Meal. It took a little while to get my burger but since it’s made fresh I was happy to wait. I got the wrong drink, Irn Bru instead of Irn Bru Extra but that’s an easy mistake to make and I like both.
I ordered the plain fries and I will say one of my party ordered seasoning on his fries which was sweet and he did not enjoy them. The burger was tremendous, some of the party said that there was no flavour to the actual meat which may be a fair point but the sauce was absolutely amazing.
Sitting in it’s a small diner but we got space and were able to enjoy the burger hot. It looks really nice inside, well kept and up to date. I’d definitely go back and try some different burgers on the menu.

Took a while for food to arrive but the food was very good. The chicken burger I ordered was so filling. Food quantity was very satisfying and the taste was excellent.

I ordered a classic burger meal and was given a burger that contained only a patty and cheese. There were no other toppings, and the bun was noticeably overdone. I understand that mistakes can be made, and so brought this to the attention of a staff member, who took the burger away. I then witnessed him attempt to give the same burger to another customer, who touched it and then refused it (I am assuming that the staff member thought that he had given me the wrong burger?). The staff member then took the burger back into the kitchen and returned with the same burger, having quickly added sauce and toppings to make it appear new.
There was still no lettuce on the burger, which I pointed out again. At this stage, I expected a fresh replacement, especially as the burger had been handled multiple times, was burnt, and had gone cold, as-well as the rest of my meal. Instead, the staff member simply had lettuce added to the existing burger and handed it back to me.
In addition to this, the staff member was not calling out orders by order number, but instead by describing what was on the order. This caused a lot of confusion among customers and possibly contributed to this error.
I feel that this behaviour was unprofessional and unhygienic. Both my friend and I were extremely put off and decided to leave, having to throw the food away.
I have visited Chilos multiple times in the past and have never experienced anything like this, which is why this incident was particularly disappointing. Waste of £10.
