Pretty disappointing. They didn’t even have chilorio, and that’s the name of the restaurant. Had the steamed deshebrada tacos, and a few different gorditas. Everything was super bland, except the salsas. I don’t think there was any salt at all, in any of the fillings. The gordita shells were pretty good though. On top of the fillings being bland, there was barely any of it in anything. And the rajas con queso were different than any I’ve ever had before, they didn’t even use a melting cheese. And there was barely any of it. Probably won’t be going back.

Great place to go eat, friendly people and the food was amazing, authentic Mexican food, and if you love spicy they got some great spicy sauce definitely going back again, would recommend their quesabirias delicious glad to have something near Venus.

BALLER tacos, barbacoa and the chorizo and queso are my favorite. Best taco shop in town, everything else is overpriced Tex-Mex garbage. Come to chilorio for an authentic experience. Make sure to try the sweet empanadas.

They forget to give you lettuce or cabbage greens for toppings. The gordita is homemade and fresh and delish. The chicharon has meat in it. The barbacoa is great! Decent prices. Good food.

I was the only customer in the restaurant, and it took them 10 minutes to take my order. After waiting another 15 minutes, I checked on my food, which was sitting at the front counter. When I looked at my tacos, I noticed they were all dry. The fajita beef was very dry and resembled pork. The deshebrada taco was good, but it also looked and tasted like pork. The food was at room temperature, except for the charro beans. The broth was tasty, but there were hardly any beans in it. I do not recommend this place.

Showed up at 8am this morning. Greeted the lady as soon as we walked in. She must of had a bad morning because we just got a face. No menu to go by asked her for menu & said there is only burritos. After attempting to order she gets upset because we ask what meats does she currently have. Overall customer service needs improvement. Got our orders wrong. Rice was cold & hard. Meat tasted microwaved. I’ve gone to many Mexicans restaurant & never experienced this before.
