Vibe with Vanillaa
This is a very chill vibe. The music wasn’t even loud and I love that. Most places you can’t even hear each other talk. Jasmine was AMAZING! She was so sweet and such a pretty smile.
Customer service is 10/10. The ambiance of the blue lights gives a relax vibe.
Food was succulent. The shrimp and salmon pasta was delicious. The spinach artichoke was so good.
20/10 highly recommended.

Jerk Pasta is amazing the owner greeted us and had conversations with us and recommended what drinks and food were the top of the menu. They played great hip hop music and the drinks were decent priced. Good service overall and atmosphere. We were visiting from Chicago. Will definitely recommend

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday for drinks and hookah (was my first time, her second time here) and when I tell you it was the most disappointing and slightly disrespectful experience. We sat ourselves and ordered hookah. Let me first point out there were maybe two other parties and one of them was local Rapper Akbar and her friends (will be relevant later). We noticed the owner at the bar rudely tell our server “they need to pay for the hookah first” – this is normal, wasn’t surprised so I paid and then put in our drink order. Drinks were okay. We saw spots open at the bar so we grab our drinks to migrate two feet over to the bar. The owner shouts at me “You need to close out” as if I was trying to evade the first bill. Didn’t say excuse me or ask if I closed already. Our server rushed over to help she was very nice. But that was my strike 1. As me and my girlfriend order our second drink…still no hookah. It took maybe 40 minutes for my one small hookah to arrive and this was after my girlfriend asked twice. After Akbar & friends wrapped up their “hosting” with no one in the restaurant the owner was attentive and polite to them ignoring the other customers unless it had to do with bill pay. overall the owner is rude as hell and sits there to eat and smoke hookah all day. He needs to either don’t interact with the customers at all or be polite and he chooses to ignore you unless it’s time to be rude. Service is trash. I am praying for their closure.

I decided to check them out because they just opened after Tom, Dick, and Hanks closed. I was expecting bbq but the menu is lackluster. Nothing stood out as a specialty. Just the same overpriced underwhelming bar foods. Their menu definitely needs an elevation. Atmosphere was definitely in need of updates for the area. Overall I will try again but not worth the price rn.

I had my birthday brunch here on 1.13.24 When I say we have an amazing time! Atmosphere was great, food, and drinks was Awesome!! Waitress was great, bartender and DJ. The setup was really nice and the owner set it up buffet style. If you’d like to have anything here, birthday celebration, brunch, or whatever, I would highly suggest!

I had an amazing experience at Chillz Restaurant and Bar! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—perfect for a chill night out. The drinks were strong (in the best way), and OMG the salmon pasta was to die for! Flavorful, creamy, and cooked to perfection.
To top it all off, they offer hookah, which made the vibe even better. This place is a must-try if you’re looking for great food, strong drinks, and a cool, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I visited Chillz Restaurant on 2.3.24. I’m always looking for places to try on the Southside and this was definitely a gem. I went around lunch time so it wasn’t really busy. The food, drinks & the vibes were great – and the hookah was pulling! My bartender was Richie & her customer service is top tier! She was very attentive & gave great suggestions. Chef Dej was amazing in the kitchen & every dish came out fresh. I even had a chance to talk to the owner while I was there & you can tell that he is passionate about his restaurant; which was nice to hear because you don’t really see that too often anymore. Overall, I had an amazing experience & I will definitely be returning!

I came to this place Friday 1/16/2026 around 2:30 because me and my boyfriend saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try the spinach dip. We went and sat at the bar and there was a very rude and dry girl working named Jessie. She was very unwelcoming, and anything from the start of the conversation she answered very sarcastically. She stood in front of us the entire time we scanned the Menü just looking at us weird. The place only had one customer sitting at the bar. And I’m sure it’s because Jessie does not give good service for people to want to come back. We stayed here about 5 minutes or less and decided to leave. Jessie is not good at bartending ATALL, and if this place wants to strive they should hire friendly girls that take pride in their appearance and work ethic.

My experience at the new Chillz location is always great. The bartenders make the drinks worth it. The waitresses are always pleasant and down to earth. The food is top tier. And the service is always great anytime I’m here. I come here very often since they’ve opened and I’ve brought a few friends from time to time.

Owner is lazy and rude. The menu is MID. No real customer service or urgency for anything… other than wanting you to hurry up and swipe your card just for breathing. The owner was worried about his hookah and phone more than running a nice establishment . 8 people in there and the customer service was still terrible. BringTDH back because this isn’t it. A bunch of old man trying to vibe with the younger crowd. Hang it up!
