Unimpressive! The portions are small for the high prices. They add a tiny bit of candy or cookie pieces to the top of a “vortex” ( one of their signature items) then 3/4 of the rest is plain ice cream. The service is unfriendly and borderline rude. I would not recommend. Spent $20 on 3 very small items not even full that they claimed to be medium size and they just choose different cup sizes as they choose. A medium drink cup is considered an extra large cup for ice cream. Very confusing. The pricing alone has gone up more than 50%.

I love chillers and I love ❤️ their strawberry short cake however the last time I got one I felt like it hardly had any ice cream in it so when I saw they had a strawberry short cake vortex I thought yes!!! Plenty of ice cream with that delicious pound cake and ateawberries. I was beyond excited about it…..only to be highly disappointed. What I received was essentially a strawberry milkshake with hard vanilla wafers in it. I jist kept pushing the wafers out of the way and tried to just eat the ice cream. So here I am chillers suggesting you turn your actual short cake into a vortex.

First I’m going to start by saying we love this place. The food is always fresh and hot we have been here LOTS of times without any problems. HOWEVER this evening it was a completely different story. My mom was in town and went through the drive thru to pick us up some dinner. She ordered the food and even had the guy repeat the order to be sure it was correct. She was charged just over $15 so she thought the order was correct. When she got home we were missing a chili cheese dog, so I called up there to let them know we were missing an item. The guy who answered transferred me to a woman. I was very polite and told her the situation and she very rudely told me she made the order herself and that it was right. They did not give my mom a receipt for the purchase all we had was the total she was charged on her card. She proceeded to tell me how they were confused about what my mom ordered, and that she didn’t order it right. My mom was sitting with me while on the phone and told her that the guy even repeated the order back correctly so she wasn’t aware of an issue. So instead of clarifying our order they just gave us a messed up order and refused to make it right. We ordered a 2 chili cheese dog meal with fries and a large sweet tea, with an extra chili cheese dog. We received 2 chili cheese dogs, fries and a tea, and was charged $15. So all we were missing was ONE chili cheese dog. I asked her why the high charge for a meal that should have been no more than $9 tops if my mom didn’t order an extra chili dog. She told me one time that we were rang up for a single chili dog meal and an extra fry (where the extra fry came from I don’t know. How do you hear extra fries instead of extra chili dog? Extra fries were never mentioned) Then a second time she changed it and told me we were rang up for the 2 chili dog meal and an extra fry. So she couldn’t even keep her story straight and the price didn’t add up either way despite the fact that wasn’t what we ordered. and instead of making it right she proceeded to argue with me over the phone, and basically called my mom a liar, and insulted her by saying that she sounded confused while she was placing the order. This is HORRIBLE customer service. I tried to handle this correctly by calling the store, but to be treated this way over ONE chili cheese dog is ridiculous. As much as I like this place I refuse to eat at, and spend my money at a place that treats their customers like this. If you choose to eat here, make sure you get your receipt, and even then, don’t expect too much help if you call about a messed up order.

I absolutely love their huge chocolate chip cookie sandwiches! My main complaint is that they usually run out of them when I go! Must be popular! I also really love their chocolate cherry vortex that I had. It’s the taste I’ve been looking for. Culver’s, DQ and others have not matched it! They are always very friendly as well.

In the mood for ice cream while traveling through & saw this little shop was right off the interstate. Drove right up with no wait & was shocked at the generous portions for a small! Huge brownie chunks in our “Vortex” treats that were so yummy & the staff was very prompt & friendly. They have tables outside or drive-thru option. Definitely recommend & we will be sure to stop in anytime we’re out that way!

I’ve been going to this place for years and it just isn’t what it used to be. Prices have skyrocketed and quality has plummeted. If I wanted the McDonald’s version of ice cream I would just go to Dairy Queen. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because they actually got 1 out of 3 items in my order correct and that’s doing good for them these days. Hopefully it gets better. Don’t order a vortex unless you want a cup of ice cream with a sprinkle of candy. That’s even if you order it with “extra candy” which I’ve come to realize is just a way for them to add $.50 to your order without actually adding anything to the ice cream. Good luck!
