We tried the Storm fish, fish in pickle soup, dry pot cauliflower, and wood ear. Everything tasted incredible, and the food came out fast. I would HIGHLY recommend ANY fish dish, as well as the dry pot cauliflower. The portions were enormous. Service was also really friendly and accommodating!

Got the hot spicy shrimp, bean curd with egg yolk, green beans, fish with pickle soup, dry pot chicken, sizzling beef, storm fish fillet, eggplants with garlic sauce, braised seafood with bean curd, and sliced pork with spicy garlic sauce and dry pot cauliflower. I HIGHLY recommend the cauliflower and fish with pickle soup. Tastes absolutely amazing, service is friendly and very accommodating. I like how quickly the dishes always come out

We order egg rolls, non spicy wonton, pork with woodear mushrooms, and seafood with crispy rice crust. All were very tasty, and the portion sizes were huge. Great food and service. I can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I have been long time customers here. The service is just and perfect as the food. Authentic Szechuan dishes both spicy, numbing as well as not so spicy options are a good variety that keep us returning as frequently as possible.

Authentic Chinese food, reminded me of our trip to China before the pandemic. The szechuan fish had that numbing heat I have rarely found in the US. There are a lot of options but not overwhelming. The garlic eggplant just melted in your mouth, so good! Service and atmosphere were nice as well. We will return to chilispot soon.

We went to this place for lunch. I heard it is the best Chinese restaurant in St. Louis. The food were really authentic. Unlike other Chinese restaurants on olive boulevard, you can tell this Chilispot’s ingredients are all very fresh, they even have the rare dish, grilled fish, which is good though not as good as the Chicago ones.

Great spicy Chinese food in STL. While it’s frequently busy, the food makes up for it and comes packed with flavor.

For as busy as the restaurant was, service was on top of it and we didn’t need to wait long for a table or our food. Unfortunately they were out of spicy wontons, but the potstickers were good. My friends enjoyed their cucumber salad. A couple of us shared two entrees. The spicy chicken had a good kick. It wasn’t so overly spicy that we couldn’t enjoy the dish; the flavor was still great! The salt and pepper shrimp are some of the best I’ve had! It tasted fresh and delicious. I believe the portions for both dishes were adequate for the price, especially because we each had some leftover to take home. I’m excited to go back and try more of their dishes!
