Our waitress/ she was also the bartender, worked there for 8 years, was BEYOND EXCELLENT. Very nice, warm welcome, gave wonderful suggestions, and loved getting a chance to see a everyday side of a server! We will definitely be back. Tysm

I would like to start by saying that our waitress was fantastic. She was the highlight of our 1-night stay in Effingham. Very personable with an overall sweet and kind demeanor.
As far as the restaurant, it was fairly clean. We arrived around 9p and there were only a couple of other customers inside.
The food was quite disappointing. So much so that even our waitress was surprised. lol
Ordered our usual Smokehouse platter with 3 options. Btw, Chili’s…please bring back the corn – it was the best part of y’all’s menu!! Anyway, the chicken strips were old and so dried out I could barely cut it with my knife. I tried to chew through a piece of it but I couldn’t make myself finish it. The fries had been sitting under the light for quite some time as they too were just dry…luckily I smothered them in ketchup and it helped them go down. The sausage was amazing and the quesadillas were fresh and hot. I tried the mac and cheese in place of my usual corn and it was spectacular! May I be so bold to say my new favorite side here??!!
Overall, there was enough decent food to not make dinner a complete bust but I think this should be a teachable moment for cooks that you should never serve food to paying customers that you wouldn’t wanna eat yourself. That’s just not cool! Take a little pride in the food you’re preparing and we will most definitely appreciate the effort!

One of the best chili’s I have eaten at. Margarita Lime Grilled chicken breast and Broccoli was cooked perfectly. Being a body builder sometimes diet can become pretty strict. They were able to accommodate graciously. I ordered just chicken and broccoli and it really was absolutely delicious.

The staff was friendly the food was very good. It came out quick and hot. The server kept our drinks full. There was nothing to complain about which is not normal for a Chili’s. This experience was way above our expectations.

The experience here was just meh! I ordered a 3 for me. The app was potato soup, it is very runny, barely any potato. Entrée Sirloin steak, sides were steamed broccoli & fries. The steak was a little salty, but good. The fries always come overdone and very a small portion is edible. The broccoli should’ve been great but this is where the shock occurred. They sent out rotting, moldy broccoli when I told the waiter she said would you like a different one? Nope, I do not want another rotting order of broccoli, so I’ll just have more lame fries as their sides are slacking!

Passing through and needed dinner. We had plenty to choose from, but decided to stop here. Best meal I have had at a Chili’s ever. Chicken was so tender. The staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely stop again when come through town.
