Ordered Placed:
Chicken Bacon Ranch Nachos – they gave us BURNT nachos that looked old like they were sitting. No ranch sauce. To look at those nachos and then give them to a customer is absurd.
Triple Dipper (big mouth bites, honey chipotle mozzarella sticks, honey chipotle bone-in wings.) – they gave us big mouth bites, honey chipotle tenders, and hot nash mozzarella sticks
The Bacon Rancher Burger (comes with 2 patties) – they gave us a burger with ONE patty & no ranch sauce AGAIN. Then the waitress tried to tell us it didn’t come with 2 patties when on the menu & in the picture it clearly does.
$6 Straw Eddy Margs – in the picture you see what is advertised. On the right is what they gave me.
When our waitress arrived, you could tell it had already been a long day for her—she looked genuinely tired. But what stood out was how she didn’t let that show in her service. She powered through with a warm, positive, and incredibly sweet attitude. She handled all of our orders with care, and as the kitchen prepared the meals, she made a point to stop by and update us on the progress. That small touch made a big difference.
When the food arrived, everything was hot, fresh, and made exactly to order. Every dish was delicious and well-prepared, which is impressive considering how busy the night was.
I did try the Old Fashioned, and I’d say that’s one menu item you can probably skip. The other drinks at the table were mixed well and leaned on the sweet side, but the Old Fashioned just didn’t hit the mark.
Overall, the night went smoothly, and major kudos go to the waitress and the entire staff for pushing through a hectic night and still making guests feel welcome. Their effort truly showed, and it made the visit enjoyable from start to finish.
I would definitely return again.
However, I did notice a strong, unpleasant smell and what looked like mold in the air vents above the tables, which was concerning. On top of that, I found a hair in my drink. It definitely made the experience less enjoyable.
I wanted to let you know so these issues can be checked out. I’d love to come back because the service was wonderful — just hope the cleanliness can be improved.
I don’t usually expect a whole lot when dining out, but I definitely didn’t expect such subpar service and food at Chili’s last night. After being seated, it took about 10–15 minutes for our waitress to greet us and take our drink order. She rushed off immediately afterward without asking if we wanted appetizers, even though we’d already had plenty of time to look over the menu and were ready to order.
When she brought the drinks, mine was missing the lemon I requested, and she didn’t ask if we were ready to place our order—she just walked away. I tried to be patient and observe how things would go, but after she passed our table several times without checking on us, I finally had to stop her to order our appetizer. Her expression made it seem like we were inconveniencing her.
Eventually she returned to take our full order. My husband asked about the mac and cheese, and she advised against it, so he chose extra fries instead. About 20 minutes later, she told us the kitchen was backed up and it would be another 20 minutes. During that time, she never checked on us, refilled drinks, or cleared plates.
When the food finally came, she dropped off part of our order and hurried away before everything even arrived. My son’s request for sauces wasn’t followed correctly, and my husband was served mac and cheese—the very item she told him not to get. My fajitas arrived last, and when I tried to eat them, the peppers and onions were burnt and stuck to the skillet. Still, she never came back to ask how the food was or if we needed anything. I eventually had to flag her down just to get drink refills, and she seemed annoyed.
At that point my appetite was gone. I just wanted the check so we could leave. Poor food is one thing, but poor service on top of it made the experience extremely disappointing. And as a final note, the ceiling vents looked filthy—definitely not something you want to notice while eating. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete letdown from start to finish.
