I found this restaurant while searching for Biang Biang noodles. This place is cash only and very small place, but the food was DYNAMITE!!!! I had the pork and green onion steamed dumplings- they were so juicy with a delicious flavor little bit of broth and pork scallion stuffing. Some of the best dumplings I’ve had in yrs. I then had the cumin lamb Biang Biang noodles and they did not disappoint. Very flavorful, you could taste many different spices and the lamb was delicious. The thick hand pulled noodles had such a great texture. The waitress was very sweet and friendly, despite it being really super busy

Great hand pulled noodles, good size portions in a small little shop. Ordered the spicy lamb hand pulled noodles. Great taste and spice level. Definitely will come back to try some other dishes as well.

poor service, incredible noodles. whoever’s working won’t acknowledge you until you speak to them. they don’t offer you water, you have to get it yourself out of a dispenser in a foam cup. when two vietnamese girls came in and asked the guy running the counter if they could take venmo instead of only cash he told them no, but a few minutes later a chinese kid came in and asked in chinese if he could pay with venmo and the guy said yes and took his venmo payment. they charged tax despite being cash only. unfortunately the noodles were so good that i’ll still be coming back

It was my first time trying this place, didn’t know what to expect but I was blown away. Phenomenal dish. The menu states all the bowls are spicy but I believe it was perfectly balanced, so much flavor definitely going back . ( Spicy Lamb)

Craving noodles in Quincy, MA, I checked the reviews for Chili Square—this place looked promising! However, it seems more like a takeout spot. The cashier didn’t say much, and while we ordered for dine-in, everything was self-service. The food was decent, but overall, I’d give it a 3 out of 5.

I had dinner here on 12 Aug 24. It is a hole in the wall mom and pop joint. Cash only. That means disposal cutlery and plates for sharing. Be prepared for a tight squeeze as there are only 5 tables in this place.
That being said, the food is very good and mostly spicy. I loved the biang biang noodles which are basically thick wheat hand made noodles. Very chewy and soft. The sauce was just the right heat level. We also had the fish fillet with preserved vegetables which was huge and enough for 4 to share.
Would definitely recommend this place for a very authentic experience and taste of spicy Chinese food.

I’ve been meaning to go to Chili Square for a while, and finally made it on my last trip to Quincy. The restaurant is small (maybe 5 tables), and most everything is self service in front of the counter (including water, styrofoam side bowls, utensils, napkins). Cash only. Overall I enjoyed some of the things I had here, but probably wouldn’t come back.
The beef noodle soup had nice flavor, The biangbiang noodles were good but not my favorite, and the chicken (bone, skin on) was quite tender with good flavor. The spicy fish fillet was huge and had a good amount of fish, but one of the fillets seemed a bit undercooked… Cucumbers cooked in the spicy broth was also an interesting choice. The chongqing chicken was coated in chili powder, which I didn’t enjoy so much, and didn’t have much savory flavor.
Overall I had a pleasant experience here, but there’s nothing here that I wouldn’t rather get at a different restaurant.

Most enjoyable noodles down to the last bite! FYI, this is a very small place with limited seating it’s definitely worth the wait if you stop by during a rush. Next time we’re in the area, I’ll be going back for the Cumin Lamb Biang Biang Noodle!
