I’ve never had an issue with this place the 3 other times I ordered. We went tonight and grabbed our normal and went back home, my husband was half way through his burrito when he pulled a FINGER NAIL, yes a FINGER NAIL, out of his mouth from the bite he had just taken.
I’ve never been so disgusted in my life and makes me feel like, we could have totally missed it any of the previous times.
Idk if this was something done on purpose because we showed up an hour before close or if the cleanliness is not taken seriously here. I feel there is definitely some negligence and is a huge health violation.
If you don’t want to wonder about each bite you take please go elsewhere
Update: No accountability was taken just brushed off as “Bone Marrow” so no one’s in the fault, as they “examined” it through the photo.

So I have been seeing this place on social media thought I would give it a try. When I got up to order they said they couldn’t serve me because of my Raider shirt. I was ready to leave for the disrespect. I am joking I have thick skin. He did joked about it-it was all fun. We laughed. Anyway, I ordered the 4 Street tacos (asada) and the Chili shack plate. Overall the food was good. My mom is a picky eater she had the tacos and liked it. The salsas were pretty good. My would’ve like one green and one red salsa for her tacos, I shared my red with her . The chili cheese fries were good and my tacos were good. I will definitely go back. Oh the other thing is the prices online and on their menu don’t match what you get charged.

This place is amazing!!! Great staff, amazing food and huge portions!! Amazing green chili like we grew up with and not only that after a few visits I already feel like a family member very welcoming and kind all around great experience if you have come here to eat your missing out!! I have no idea what the ambience or service is like cause I ordered through Uber eats and it’s not fair to put those issues on anyone lol my son and I truly enjoy the food! I am a Mexican hamburger gal and he enjoys the smothered shredded beef. Huge portions and so yummy thanks for feeding us.

I like this place they are good. The only thing I would change is how much cheese is put in the grilled tacos. I would like them grilled more so they don’t get soggy and fall apart by the time i get home. Other than that they are really good. Also some times the chili changes from not so hot to so hot you can’t eat them.

The cheese i have a feeling is just a budget version of Kraft singles.
“If I take one more bite of this is will puke” was said while my wife tried to eat her cheese enchiladas.
The little lady at the counter treated me as if I was bothering her from her phone and had no idea about her own menu.
I gave it 2 stars only because the location was easy and at least the food was fast. I can not even think about eating here again.

Not trying to be a hater we love chili shack go to the one up north 104th all the time, it’s always good never had a problem but decided to go to Colfax location while waiting for my car being maintenanced. Well, the food was disgusting $35 wasted the container was filled with oil from tacos not being drained so my chili fries were just sitting in all that oil and tacos were so soggy. I couldn’t believe the experience we had this morning we threw all the food in the trash after a couple bites it made us feel sick. I hope this problem will be fixed and they will serve more presentable food.

I’ve found my place!!! I love a good asada chili fries but have been living without it for a lot of years now only because people usually use pork in theirs and I don’t eat pork anymore. But when chili shack owner reached out to me and kindly explained that their chili is pork free I flew over there with no hesitation to order my meal right before they closed. The service was so kind and fast. I’ve found my new spot!!! Thank you
