It was better than your average taco place but I won’t give it a 5 star because I don’t think it was 5 star taco. The food was hit, the place was clean and took a reasonable time for our order to be done. I like that their meat did not taste like other places… I guess I don’t like the “too authentic” taste of taco meat so this one provided a proper balance. So for all these seemingly yummy ingredients in these tacos, I don’t know why the taste is not quite there. I wanted a more prominent flavor from the cilantro, I wanted the onion, tomato’s and meat create a mix of warm savory and cold salads feel but everything just was muted by one each other. I don’t know I can’t honestly put my finger on one issue . Just that I expected better flavors from all those great stuff in my taco.

I used to frequent the original ‘Chili on Top’ location in Woodbridge, and hands down, their menu offers some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted—it’s easily one of my all-time favorite spots. Yesterday, I visited their newly opened location, and I was immediately impressed by the sleek, spotless interior, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the Burrito, Shrimp Taco, and Birria Ramen. The Burrito and Shrimp Taco were generously portioned, with perfectly balanced fillings that hit all the right notes. As for the Birria Ramen, the broth was incredibly clean and refreshing, leaving a lasting impression.
Honestly, this restaurant is nothing short of phenomenal and holds its own as one of the best in Virginia. I’d give it top marks without hesitation!

The food here is insanely fresh and flavorful. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Don’t get me started on the churros… They put Bavarian cream INSIDE the churro and then it absorbs into the dough and it’s quite simply amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable too. I’m hoping if I order this place enough they’ll open a location in my house. 10/10.

The mix of Korean and Mexican seems to be a smash hit. I’ve seen multiple restaurants put this fusion on their menu. Chili On Top did a great job bringing them together. Food was great and the service was quick and efficient. I don’t think the restaurant itself was inviting to stay and eat but that didn’t matter because I ordered take out anyway. I really enjoyed the meal and the mix of cultures. They truly go together very smoothly.

The staff here is incredible! I placed a large sized to-go order, and the woman at the register offered to help carry the bags out to my car with zero hesitation. We ordered several traditional tacos and the chicken and steak Nacho Borrachos. Nachos were 10/10!! The tacos weren’t bad, but probably better fresh at the restaurant vs. to-go.

I decided to try something different from what I normally eat on Fridays. I had been wanting to try the food since it opened and I am glad that I did.
I decided to get the Birria Ramen bowl with a birria taco. All I can say is that is was DELICIOUS! The base broth was so flavorful and the ingredients were so fresh!

Our first time at this great little spot. It’s only been open a little while, and we had been planning on stopping by for a few days. Finally got the chance today, and we were not disappointed! The service was great, the food was amazing! Prices were pretty reasonable too. Got 3 tacos and a buritto, and a lot of other things to go. We’ll definitely be back again!

Restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly.
Had to take a detour on the way home but our food remained fresh. There was Norma discoloration in our guacamole from sitting near something warm. to me that just means there are more smashed avocados than sour cream in their guacamole recipe.
Onions were crunchy, cilantro was not wilted or soggy.
Definitely recommend for something quick, easy, and different than pizza.

Got verde and Rojas salsa. Neither were very spicy but both were flavorful and added nice balance to the tacos. Elote was good and crunchy.
