This restaurant serves up 湘菜style cuisine. We tried 4 dishes: dry pot stir fry cabbage (干锅包菜), stir fry pig intestines (干锅肥肠), stir friend Jiangxi-style rice noodles, and Chinese rice cakes served with brown sugar and soybean powder.

I think the dry pot dishes tasted quite good, especially the cabbage one. The dry pot comes in a very hot pot that’s kept heated while you eat. The pig intestines were cut a bit too thick so I felt that the flavor was lacking, and I feel like the pig intestines could have been cleaned better (although it’s not bad). I can handle spicy food, so for me the spice level is around 2.5/5. For someone with lower tolerance maybe it’s 3.5/5?

Rice noodles were good but they used a lot of oil. Again, I feel like the flavor was a bit lacking.

As for the Chinese style mochi, the portion size was very large (10-12 pieces?), but I wish the rice cakes were more chewy and moist. I think kids may really like this dish.

This restaurant has a lot of seating and food is served relatively fast, even for a Chinese restaurant. We visited on a weekend and there were lots of families with younger kids.

Amazing experience, great value for money, authentic flavors — great presentation. We got the live fish for $60ish and it was more than enough to feed 5. Also ordered the eggplant century egg dish and it was amazing.

Great spot for authentic Chinese food that isn’t overly Americanized. The dishes were flavorful, just a bit oily, and the spice levels are no joke, so order according to your heat tolerance. They brought the wrong dish at first but handled it kindly and covered the cost, which I appreciated.

There’s plenty of parking, and it’s best to go with a group so you can share multiple dishes. The mushroom entrée (pictured) was a standout. Overall, tasty food, friendly service, and a solid place for a hearty meal.

Ordered a grilled fish (mild spicy – recommend to go above if you can tolerate more spice), seasonal veggie, dry pot pork intestines along with fresh watermelon juice. Foods and service were good. Highly recommend to check this out. Also parking are plenty on the back of the building.

If you cannot serve so many customers during peak hours just temporarily close your store for pickup or deliveries. We pay tips but wait for more than half an hour and there’s not a single dish coming, no server explained anything. Ridiculous.

Really good authentic spicy hunanese cuisine. I would say this is 80% to the real thing in China, which is way better than anything I can get in Oregon. We got the eggplant century egg and braised eel soup. 5/5

Side note, the only Hunan exclusive dish is the eel soup, which is why I ordered it. The eggplant century egg is an Americanized Hunan dish that I crave after having it in SoCal multiple times. Everything else is pretty standard Sichuan style but looks well executed from what I saw.

The grilled fish was delicious and not too spicy. You can add your own vegetables or meat, which is really convenient. The portion was large and definitely worth the price. The flavor was pretty good, and the service was acceptable as well.
