The food was amazing. The decor wasn’t the best but the food was authentic as it could be. After hearing there families history and how they came to the USA and how they cook was amazing. I can’t say enough about the portions and how good the food was. Not to mention that the food was very reasonable. A must stop for authentic Mexican food.

This place is now called El Piquin as of February 2020. The staff was very according and friendly. Our waiter was so nice and quick! Our portions were huge and so delicious! We will definitely be back, probably next week as my partner says he is craving another chicken enchilada!

I used to love this place but the last two times I was underwhelmed. The service is extremely slow with one girl doing everything as what I guess was the manager just sat back and chit chatted with a friend. My nachos were mushy and the topping were dry like they had been cooked too long. I most likely will not be going back.
Also, even though the menu and website say the deliver, they stopped this a while ago.

Love the food. The manager is great and I suggest to anyone try the goat or bees tongue as there meat you won’t regret it. I know it sound odd but if it’s your first time trying that is the place to try it. If your not that adventurous and want a lot for a low price Tipico’s are the way to go!
I’m going back ever chance I get.
Oh P.S The Flan Is ❤️ ❤️

ON MY NEXT VISIT (which will be soon) I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW WITH SOME NICE PHOTOS OF THE FOOD! I PROMISE!
It isn’t the nicest looking place but the food is FANTASTIC. If you want REAL Mexican food, this is the place to go. I will SWEAR by it.
I had the Red Sauce Enchiladas with rice and pinto beans and I can say without a doubt, it’s the best Mexfood I’ve ever had. It was very affordable as well. You get a nice FILLING portion. If you go to somewhere like Dennys or Friendlys, you’ll be spending twice as much money for half the amount of food. I was VERY full after eating a dish at Chile Peppers, and I got full off of just 10 dollars, I actually wanted to take half of it home with me but I felt it would be too disrespectful to not finish my meal and clean my plate. This place gets 5 stars for quality AND price in their food.
The place needs more business. I think a better paint job on the walls would help liven the place up to look much nicer for people dinning. It isn’t a big issue tho, just an aesthetic preference. I think the sponge paint job with the orange just looks really unsatisfying and a more clean paint job with a few nice flowers and plants around the dinner would make it VERY pleasant. Maybe even some native to Mexico plants like some Cactus plants with pink bulbs.
I think the place is a little understaffed, but that’s to be expected as they just opened up recently. However, the woman who was serving the food and doing the cashier was very diligent with making sure we were okay, the food was good and to see if we needed anything else. She was very nice to us so my father and I made sure to give a nice tip 🙂
Anyway. I HIGHLY recommend this food and I WILL be eating it again. My father and I are actually going to meet there for lunch every other Sunday because it was so good. Try it out folks and give these people some business. Taco Bell is trash.

Ordered 3 mexican style tacos specifically because the young lady taking the order said they had cilantro and avocado on them. Got home only to find NO avacado and a ton of slided radishes. If i wasnt really hungry would have driven them back. Taste wasn’t bad, just not what i expected.
