This place definitely deserves the 5 stars. Exceeded our expectations! Food portions were great and you get more than what you pay for. Quality was so good and the food came out quick. Very cute spot! It was our first time trying this place and definitely will be returning soon!

Might be the best food in Batavia.
I’ve had the birria chilaquiles and a traditional breakfast skillet, and both were really good. I highly recommend the birria chilaquiles though.
Also, they don’t always put cinnamon in their coffee but on occasion they do, and it was surprising how good it was.
The prices are higher than I would expect, but considering the quality and portions it’s reasonable.
This has become not just my favorite breakfast spot in town but my favorite restaurant here.

I try chilaquiles at every restaurant in the area that serves them and this place is my new #1. However, the one and only thing I experienced that is making me question whether I will go back or not is the fact that there were uncovered tortilla chips sitting on top of a fridge? at the front of the restaurant. I’ve bartended/served so I have taken food sanitation courses and those should be covered. While I’m eating my delicious chilaquiles torta (which reheated great) all I could think about is the fly I see flying around and the uncovered food. This can be corrected.

Outstanding all around! Slept on gem of the Batavia area, it’ll be our go-to now that we’ve found it. Tables were full by the time we left after an early start so it’s clear that people are aware of what they’re kicking out here. If you’re a foodie, skip the pancake house and head to the Chilaquiles House. 5/5

This is my second time around here, and let me tell you this place is what made me love my cultures food FULLY. Growing up, I hated Mexican food because of how it was given to me and just tasted too “normal” or without flavor. Plus, being critiqued for consuming non-American food. This is only my second time trying chilaquiles, but each time I go, the server (I’m sorry I don’t know your name) is more than willing to tell me which are her favorite or which she has recently tried and loved. My father and I listen to her each time and LOVE the food to where we want this to be our go to Mexican breakfast spot. It’s such a lovely, authentic restaurant to eat at. There will always be negative reviews or comments made, but please persevere as you guys are doing such a good job for a small business.

This has been the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. My favorite is the chile relleno chilaquiles and the spicy green salsa chilaquiles with carnitas.

Yes there is regular food. But skip that and go with the Chilaquiles. You won’t be disappointed.
