The service was excellent. The food was quite good. I ate the chicken flautas, and they were crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. The chicken inside was flavorful and not dry (which is the problem with flautas un many places). I’ve eaten Mexican and Tex-Mex food in many places (including Mexico and Texas), By comparison, Chilangos holds its own in quality, taste, presentation, and value. I would happily visit it again if I’m ever in this part of the country again.

Our one experience at Chilango’s Cantina Grill was not very memorable. It was neither poor, nor great. I ordered nachos, and I believe they were fajita nachos. They were good, but had very little chicken, instead, loaded with everything else. But I admit, what chicken it did have on it was pretty good. My wife felt her meal was just average. They’re not extremely pricy, moderate maybe. Service that evening was not the best I’ve had, and we waited for several things for a long time, due to a large group that came in and seated near us. Unfortunately it seems as if that group took all precedent over us, and we did have to wait for everything. I think it’s okay, but overall, I probably wouldn’t go here very often.

Delicious food. Superb presentation. Slow service this particular day but worth the wait. The sizzling of all the meats, the aroma wafting in my face, as I sat in front of this bounty of deliciousness- in the Molcajete was like fireworks to my senses! The visual display was like a masterpiece. I didnt want to ruin it. Lol
Your mouth will love this 3 meat dish. I was sweating, mouth slightly on fire…loving every bite. I even had some leftover to take home and enjoy it again later.
I would highly recommend trying the Meat Trio Molcajete. Sizzling and deeeeelcious! You will not be disappointed.
And how could I not mention that this fiesta in your mouth also comes with tortillas, refried beans and rice.
The table nachos and that bomb *ss salsa cannot be forgotten.

My first visit and definitely not my last! Food was delicious! Our fajitas were Hot and steaming just the way we like them! Onions were caramelized perfectly! Serving was huge! Enough for 2.
The complimentary chips were warm and stayed warm in the basket while we enjoyed them with the salsa. First bite of the salsa I thought it was a bit spicy. But, I couldn’t stop eating it! I haven’t been able to enjoy Mexican food for sometime so I was worried how this would settle. I will be back! The food settled great! Highly recommend!!
