Ingredients were fresh, the tortillas are tasty too. The mushroom taco, and the ground beef taco were excellent. Everything else needs some salt, especially the guac—it was so bland… given that, it wasn’t bad for a Mexican food truck in the middle of Humboldt. It was also expensive—six tacos, a side of guac, and two drinks for $70 including tip.

Me and my girlfriend ordered from here last weekend, and all their food is amazing, fresh and delicious. I got the California burrito and she got the tacos and we split a order of nachos. The burrito is so good and the tortilla they use is so fresh and delicious. The tacos are so crispy and delicious and the nachos were also amazing. I would recommend this to anyone that wants 5 star Mexican food in Arcata, highly recommend.

I love this place. Everyone who works here is so kind, the ingredients are always fresh, and the food never misses. I’m picky about going out for Mexican food and this is the only place in Arcata that’s been consistently amazing with solid flavors. I try to come at least once a week and have tried almost everything on the menu. never disappointed. Thank you!!

if you’re looking for something that’s authentic, hardy, and high quality, this is the place.
I ordered the super nachos with birria, 2 birria tacos, the tres leches cupcake with peaches, and a Mexican coke to round it out. Service was quick and friendly, all my questions were answered warmly as well.
The tacos were superb-the tortillas were fresh and tasted homemade, the meat was tender and fresh, and all the toppings were perfect compliments to the protein.
The nachos featured the same delicious tortillas but with so much crunch. The guacamole was perfectly balanced, the salsa was nice and spicy, and the cheese was grilled to perfection.
The tres leches cupcake was dense, rich, and creamy with just the right hint of brightness from the locally sourced peaches.
I was highly impressed with this little taco truck, you’d be hard pressed to find something that compares in the area. I will definitely be going back in the near future!

These people need to learn to wash their hands if they’re cooking food. The only thing I ate yesterday and been throwing up and diarrhea all day long. It’s a shame someone can spend $30 for one burrito and one plate of chilaquiles and have to go through this. If you can even call that chilaquiles.
