Loved this! Ordered for the first time and will be back. Everything on their menu is 100% plant-based, which is really awesome. We got the pozole and it was incredible, especially with the abundant toppings and high quality ingredients (flavor was well developed). The prickly pear lemonades were good too (not too sweet or sour, but still flavorful). I split the fry bread panini with my partner and we both really liked it, good use of jalapenos and spice:) Finished off with their blue corn cake, the berries on top were a wonderful touch. Next time I’d order two. Highly recommend for unique and delicious food you can’t find anywhere else!!

Really cool concept with lots of interesting dishes unlike anywhere else or anything else available in the Denver metro area. The ingredients are not only unique, but the quality of ingredients really shines through in everything. On top of it all, everyone working there is so nice and is passionate about their craft.

I had a bad experience with this restaurant—small portions, poor flavor, and a confusing refund situation that left me frustrated. I also made an offhand comment during that time that, in hindsight, was culturally insensitive. That wasn’t my intention, and I’ve taken time to reflect on it.
For context, I’m someone who eats 10 grams of shrooms a couple times a year, sits in ceremonies with bufo, kambo, and once ate 8 grams of Amanita pantherina. So when I half-jokingly asked for a peyote walk in exchange for the disappointing meal, I was genuinely speaking from a place that values altered states—but I now understand how that request came off, and I regret how I framed it.
All that said, the food still wasn’t worth $92.00 to me—but I do respect their mission to source ingredients from Indigenous farms and use traditional, regenerative practices. I hope they continue finding the right audience. Just wasn’t for me.

best food experience in a while! The folks who brought us our food were so kind and communicative throughout the ordering and pick up process.
we ordered one of almost everything on the menu. the muffins, biscuits, and fry bread were incredible. Perfect temperature, texture and such generous quantities. We tried both the chili and the roasted chestnut soup. both had such deep flavors, were so comforting, and the white corn dessert was a perfect end to the meal. Wish we had ordered about five more 🙂
we are so lucky to have such generous and talented chefs here in Denver!

Every single time I have had the pleasure of enjoying beautiful plates by Ch’il Indigenous I am truly taken aback by the flavors and the creativity. Everything is done with intention, & the holiday cookie box & jalapeño popper roll were two of the best things I have ever had! The owner is incredibly kind & and a community leader. As a fellow vegan business owner, I couldn’t recommend her food more!

Unbelievably delicious! Every single item I have ever had from Ch’il has been incredible. There is attention to detail, complex flavors, amazing mixtures of ingredients, and just all around awesome food.
But what’s even more important about food from Ch’il: it will truly heal you and lift you up. There is love and soul in this food, and it’s exactly what our world needs! Narissa has given us an amazing gift: incredibly delicious, nourishing food that should be protected at all costs! If you are lucky enough to have had food from Ch’il, you’re lucky enough!

I am so grateful to have discovered Ch’il at the recent Arvada Pow wow! Narissa’s wild rice horchata is unbelievable…so earthy with just the right amount of sweetness. I love the blue corn shakes and pancakes, the chokecherry and honey syrup, and the amazing Indian tacos. Most recently, the Pozole with a ton of fresh veggies to load on top was sensational.
Ch’il is worth trying, friends. Open weekends now at 38th and Wadsworth!
And while you are there, check out Sweet Ridge Studios owned by Melinda for amazing art classes for ages 1-99!

The best cake and cupcakes I ever had came from Narissa. Every birthday or special occasion our family orders through her now. I appreciate the thought and care she puts into not only the baking but also the recipe and ingredients.

I was lucky enough to catch Ch’il foods at a corn festival. The Navajo blue corn & juniper ash rolls are out of this world amazing, the Oneida Tuskarora corn & green chili stew I took to go was also incredible, and I had a homemade poptart that was so good. Kind service, amazing food, and a wonderful project. Can’t wait to try their food again soon!
