The outside signs caught my curiosity. It looks small from the outside but once you come in. They have a decent amount of seats available. They do have a bar towards the end if you just want alcohol however the food cooking will definitely get your attention. They have deals for just tacos or meals. You will place an order and be giving a device that will go off when your food is ready. On the side next to the drinks is where you pick up your food. Speaking of the food it was appetizing. I definitely recommend coming here. Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant.

Loved everything about this spot. My burrito al pastor was exactly what I was craving. The pineapple Agua fresca was so fresh and had actual pineapple pulp. I couldn’t walk out with out trying a few bags of local candy either. I’m definitely coming back. Even though I live in Garner with tons of good Mexican options, I want to try more of their menu. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and I loved the vibes of the place. Will be back!

I love finding hole in the wall taco places or taco trucks but I was downtown and decided to splurge a bit and wow $$ does equate to quality (i usually look for $3.50 tacos). Suadero, tripa, lengua and cabeza were so bomb I love it when they don’t try to cover up the natural gamy taste of the meats. Plus there is a salsa bar too.

So here is the thing the food was good the service was quick the space is really nice area spacious modern. My issue is extremely simple I’m sitting here at the table and I just am noticing how many flies are right next to me I can see four house flies on the window right by me and they’re buzzing around I just don’t feel comfortable eating in a restaurant that has a bunch of houseflies in it.
And now it’s a bit too late cause I’ve already had my lunch but I peeked into the kitchen and the grill is filthy. Not like oh it’s a busy lunch and we’re gonna clean up the grill later but like Cape Town crusty on crap that just says oh they don’t really clean this grill properly scrub it down. And hey that’s probably why there are flies in the room.

My boyfriend and I were leaving an event Saturday night and noticed this place was open late. The food was fresh and delicious, and the presentation was so cute! We got the ACP and chicken quesadilla. A lady who I assume is the manager was going around making sure things were clean and in order the entire time we were there. She also told me about the salsa bar- it was top notch and included fresh cut limes, onions & cilantro! 10/10, we’ll be back again!

Chido catered for our office and was fantastic. The prices are great and the food is fresh and delicious.
It was my first time eating Chido Taco so I ordered a bit of everything to try and impressed. Every taco was flavorful and you can truly taste the fresh ingredients.

I have been eating at Chido’s for years. I always go to the one off of Wake Forest Rd. My experiences there have always been top tier. A couple of weeks ago I go to the one in downtown Raleigh. I ordered a Chicken ACP add shrimp and the chicken rolls. The lovely woman even brought my food out to my car. I make the 30 drive home and had I begin to eat my food I realize there was no chicken in the ACP. I immediately call and told her what happened, she apologized and said I could come at anytime and get replacement for free.
Two weeks later I show up to the store and this guy proceeds to tell me “oh that I waited too long to get a replacement that people would eat free all the time.” I told him “I understand that, but I am not like that and what about the $10 they got from free off me because I never got my chicken (my total was over $30 and I tipped)” he being to talk over me.. I nicely told him they should have a better system in place and should let customer know that they have a time frame to come and get their order right.
I am four months pregnant and all I wanted that initial day was a chicken ACP add shrimp.

If you’re looking for great service and truly authentic food, love tacos de birria and queso!!!! This place does not miss. Everything was delicious, but what made my experience even better were my drinks by Jazmín honestly the best bartender I’ve come across in Raleigh.
She was attentive, quick, super friendly, and had the kind of energy that makes you feel welcomed right away. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in the way she takes care of her guests.
Definitely coming back. Highly recommended.
