Taste Bud
Old school cuba eatery, been around for years and still has that authentic Cuban vibe. No frillls jus good food. This is my go to for a good Cuban sandwich

It was about 10 minutes to see a menu and about 20 to place the order and that was because the manager or owner looked for someone to come and take the order. Sunday March 8 it was a gathering for dancing the music was so loud that even sitting all the way in the back with a glass wall in between us and the music it was impossible to communicate with anyone in our table. Besides all that I can say people were having a good time. Will not recommend the Cuban sandwich. Be prepared to wait and wait

Haven’t been here in years. So we decided to go for breakfast on a Sunday. The service was not so great. But the food was good when they brought all of it to the table. It was not what we were expecting. Disappointed… But I will definitely try it one more time. Because the food was good. But they need to work on their service and get more organized..

This Cuban restaurant hits different. Food is fresh, hot, and tasty. The tostones were crunchy exactly how we asked. Pro tip: get the croquetas inside from the appetizer menu, instead of the croquetas from the pick up window. Customer service 10/10. Don’t sleep on the cafecito to wrap it up. Best Cuban restaurant in Hialeah, period!

Ten years ago, this Hialeah eatery was a local gem, renowned for its perfect meals at any time of day. However, my recent visit was a stark reminder of how much has changed. The once delectable breakfast, now a shadow of its former self, featured eggs that were unappetizingly wet and flavorless. The croquettes, which used to be a highlight, tasted bland and stale. A significant concern was the chicken served to a toddler; it was alarmingly undercooked. Additionally, the onions had a distinctly old smell upon arrival. The breakfast potatoes, meant to be a crispy delight, were so excessively oily that we had to blot out the grease with paper – a visual testament to the decline in quality. Having grown up here and experienced the restaurant’s better days, it’s disheartening to see such a downfall in standards. I will see that the service is still great, and a handful of items are still delicious, but it’s a gamble.

It’s a tradition in our family to visit this amazing place first thing on our trips to Florida. In the years we have been coming we have never been disappointed. Great Cuban food (as I should know since I’m Cuban) and friendly staff paired with cheap deals. Definitely recommend. Don’t leave Florida without stopping by here first!
