As usual, the wait staff at Alexis diner was very welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed a lovely roast beef and bacon club sandwich, while my fiancé got a crispy chicken wrap. Our meals were served promptly, and made to perfection. My personal favorite part of alexis diner is their coffee, as well as their buffalo chicken dip. If you haven’t been to Alexis diner, you’re missing out!!!

Alex catered a breakfast for us at a local hotel following our daughter’s wedding. I can’t say enough about his attention to detail, service and of course the food, which was delicious. He made sure to set up the day before and was there well before the 7:00 am start time the following day. Everything was perfect! There’s a reason Alexis Diner is the finest in the capital district but if you need someone to cater your special event, call Alex!!

Worst meal ever. My partner ordered the ribeye special. No ribeye left. So he ordered strip steak (more $$) and seafood chowder. He said chowder didn’t taste right. I ordered meatloaf dinner with mashed (no gravy on either) and steamed veggies. The meatloaf was reheated lumps of meat and the mashed were dry. The waiter served that way. I took two bites, dried up food. Who would serve this definitely not fresh or edible. The waiter never noticed or cared. Yuck don’t go there unless you want you food covered in gravy or fried. 2nd dinner I had there that was dried out.

We had planned to go to another restaurant for Fathers Day lunch/dinner, but discovered there was a 1 hour and 15 minute wait. “No thanks” we said. Both my son and I had heard and read good reports about Alexis Diner and decided to give it a try. What a great experience. Nice, clean and pleasant place, inside and out. Although they have a large menu selection, all three of us got the fried chicken dinner. Everything was very good, and the volume of food was enormous. We ended up bringing 4 boxes of food home with us and we were all stuffed! The wait service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable in my opinion. Gray place and certainly recommend it. We will be back.

Always travel with small well behaved dog. The outdoor covered patio was beautiful with ample space to bring the dog carriage. The food was so yummy, and there were generous portions at a reasonable price. The management made sure we were comfortable even turned on the overhead outdoor heater since it was an unreasonably cool day. The wait staff were fast, pleasant, and attentive. I will return to dine here every time I am in the neighborhood. This place rates an A++.

I was here a couple months ago that’s the lower review this review today went in for a late lunch not happy at all . Service was extremely slow had to ask twice for napkins, I know don’t go to a Greek restaurant when you want spaghetti, but I was craving spaghetti . The sauce was nasty pasta was quite chewy the meatballs I don’t know what dead animal they were made from but it did not taste like beef . Luckily my daughter’s food she was happy with . I think it’s going to be a while before I go back. 1st review couple months ago. was amazing service was attentive atmosphere Pleasant, very crowded but they are so quick to clean tables and turn them over that a short wait is not a problem at all. I haven’t been there in quite a while and it was a pleasant surprise. But I’m in that area again I will definitely stop. By the way the homemade macaroni and cheese was to die for.

Another excellent dining experience as usual but we had a waitress that never served us before. Lauren was incredible and made our experience that much more pleasurable. She was quick, friendly and had a glowing personality. Made sure everything was right. Double and triple checked to make sure we had everything we needed and could take a good joke and give it right back. We sure hope Lauren serves us on our next trip. The food industry needs more Laurens. Give that girl a raise!!!!! A+++

Breakfast was awesome ..but a bit bit disappointed on the 16oz steak..it was blanc and dry. recommending to suggest some sauce on side.
