Chico’s Mexican Restaurant

Great new restaurant option and glad to see it located in Ronceverte. There are a number of great seating options. They did a great job decorating the bar area and the outdoor seating is very nice and well laid out. The waitstaff can use some training on friendliness and sociability but their English speaking skills may be prohibitive for a while. The food was presented nicely and it seems they use fresh ingredients. I got the burria tacos and the meat was a little tough and not very flavorful but I had read several good reviews on this item so I believe the batch I received just didn’t simmer long enough in tue crock. I’ll definitely be going back here and hope to see them do well and continue to improve their services.

Food was incredible, pleasantly surprised coming in from South Eastern VA to visit family and stopped by after church. They were busy but exceeded my expectations for little Ronceverte. Comparable to “Authentic Mexican” found coast to coast in the US! I can’t wait to come back! Look forward to trying the one in Union when it opens too. I had the Quesabirria. 10/10 probably the best Birria I’ve had in a long time! Salsa was tasty as well as the chips. Tried a family member’s fajita chicken nachos, chef’s kiss! Food was piping hot and quick. Highly recommend you try them out. The location isn’t overly large but the atmosphere is fun.

the food at chico’s is absolutely outstanding. being from miami originally, i love hispanic cuisine and the quesabirria tacos genuinely are like a taste of home for me. the presentation of the food is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is great! the new deck is quite shady and peaceful, all around i enjoy my experience every time i come to chico’s and the food is high quality. highly recommend the veggie loaded nacho fries, chicken acp, and quesa birria tacos, all with a side of that delicious guacamole! ️ seen in the photos are the quesabirria tacos

Wow!!! I was blown away to find a Mexican Restaurant this good in Greenbrier county!! Chicos is our favorite restaurant around. The Asada tacos are my favorite! They give you big portions with the most delicious rice and beans around. I cannot recommend them enough.

We love Chicos. Twice in the last week!! Looks like they are expanding to accommodate larger crowds and it’s a good thing because more and more people are talking about this little hot spot. It’s kind of crazy that Lewisburg and Ronceverte have 4 and a half Mexican food venues.

Exceptionally good food, and vastly different than any other Mexican restaurant I’ve ever ate at. They have recently expanded, so suitable for seating any number of guests. Very versatile atmosphere. & I must commend their décor, very unique to say the least.

Livin A Dream

This place was recommended to us to try and was by far the most disappointing. Probably one of the most watered down margaritas I have ever had and the food was bland. The Fajitas Hawaiian was the best dish of all of the ones we ordered. I would not go back and Mexican food is my favorite.

Have ordered take out a few times, it is absolutely delicious! The food is always prepared quickly and ready when I pick it up. Staff is very nice!

Favorites are the chile rellenos, fajita nachos, and the enchiladas Chico’s (the carnitas is fantastic)!
