This is my first time at Chico Malo and it was a great place. I ended up going around brunch time on the weekend so I ended up getting some steak and eggs that also came with some beans, guacamole and some really delicious salsa. The service was fast. The food was really flavorful I would definitely go back to try some other items on the menu. The place is really nice and they had an upbeat vibe with some of music going on. The servers were kind of friendly they even help me out with the menu. I would definitely give this a try if you haven’t been here before.

Really good food. The asada was very well seasoned and tender. The corn tortillas were a little burnt. I was torn on whether that made it better or not. The beans and rice were a nice surprise as well! Great flavor. I will certainly be back to try more!

We came here to have a quick drink and food before the rattlers game started 3pm. We started off with MANGO Y CHILE to drink. We also ordered one appetizer which was CEVICHE VERDE. Which was amazing!!! Never had it before. Definitely made me crave for more!! Definitely recommend. Then we shared the CHICHARRÓN DE RIBEYE. This was just a little too Crispy for our tasting but still good.

This is a pretty good place to eat especially for the downtown night crowd. We came in the afternoon for lunch the place was fairly busy. The food was good and service was excellent. My only complaint is the price of the alcoholic mixed drinks. Beer prices are average.
