Nothing beats a Chico Feo quesadilla — but honestly, everything here slaps. The food is straight-up to die for and consistently hits every time.
Service is a little different than your typical sit-down spot: you order at the bar and pick up your food there. It’s efficient and friendly, just not traditional table service — which honestly fits the place perfectly.
Full-on beach vibes here: no shirt, no shoes, no problem. There’s a huge water jug right by the entrance, live music most days, and yeah… you might see someone ripping a cig nearby — it’s Folly, that’s part of the charm.
And don’t sleep on the cucumber saké sling — it pairs perfectly with the food.
Hands down the best place to be on Folly Beach.

This is the kind of place you could spend all day at! The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. It was great to see people of all ages enjoying themselves, and we happened to be there during open mic night—which made the experience even more special. Truly a spot that has it all!

We’ve been coming here for years because it’s great. Unassuming beach bar with tons of character. Outdoor seating year around under big oak trees and Spanish moss. Very casual, first come, first serve. Variety of beers and drinks with a daily limited menu that is culinary excellence. Never had anything that wasn’t excellent. Everyone is friendly, live music, and super dog friendly. Not to be missed, the local hang out bar of Folly.

Found this place in a search for street tacos and it was well worth the trip. Parking ️ is a pain to find, so drop off your party and tell them to order you the pork tacos. It will take a few minutes to park and walk back.

If you want to relax and truly feel the ‘vacation vibe,’ visit Chico Feo! Staff were efficient and friendly, food was great and the drinks were cold! The live music was also a great plus! The sesame noodle special and street tacos were excellent! There is bar seating as well as several tables of varying sizes for groups/families. Chico Feo is located within walking distance to the beach as well as other local shops, yet is surrounded by trees and feels secluded. We absolutely loved Chico Feo and wished we could have visited more than once!

My husband and I had the best pork tacos there. There was this seltzer drink from Revelry brewery, with fruit that was amazing. I would love the recipe to that drink. I have been trying to duplicate it but I can’t. Delicious!

Simply the best. This would be my regular locale if I lived around Folly. Everyone was so awesome and in the best mood. The music was fantastic too. You have to get a Samurai Sling (beverage). Dog friendly!

Unique hole in the wall bar with serfer/skater vibes. You order at the bar but there is seating outside. This place is open weather depending. The food was flavorful and unique. The menu was rather limited and this might not be the move for larger parties. Also I wouldn’t describe it as kid friendly. Overall we enjoyed it and it is a nice place for a quick drink and taco.

This place came highly recommended from both locals and a couple friends of mine. This meal did not disappoint! We brought our pup along and enjoyed some REALLY good, authentic food.
