Really love this place. The vibe is great and the atmosphere feels super comfortable.

The music was a big highlight for me — they played all the latest songs, which made the whole experience even better.

Food-wise, everything was delicious. But the onion rings… WOW. Insanely good and HUGE. Definitely a must-order.

Prices are fair — not cheap, not expensive. Pretty reasonable for a restaurant bar.

The staff were very friendly and incredibly fast with the service, which I really appreciated.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a fun place to hang out with friends

The mussels at Chickie and Pete’s are absolutely fantastic — perfectly steamed, tender, and loaded with flavor. The garlic and white wine sauce is rich and addictive, especially when paired with their famous Crabfries. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, and the portion was generous enough to share (though you’ll want to keep them for yourself). The staff was upbeat and attentive, and the whole place has that fun Philly energy that makes you want to stay for another round. Easily one of the best spots around for seafood and a good time!

A bit of a mixed experience here. On my first visit, the place was pretty quiet and the service was good overall—my meal was just okay, but nothing to complain about.

Tonight was a different story. They were packed, and since there were no open seats at the bar, I asked the hostess for a table. After sitting for over 20 minutes without anyone stopping by, I ended up leaving the table and eventually found a single open stool at the bar. Once I sat there, the service was smooth and my drinks were handled without any issues.

Unfortunately the food was rather bad. Maybe i just order the wrong things.. IDK

Overall, I do like the restaurant, but it tends to feel overcrowded at times and the food hasn’t really impressed me so far.

Our extended family brought us here for some hangover therapy.

ATMOSPHERE:
Its a huge sports bar with big windows, wood everywhere and more TV’s than a Vegas kino parlor. And they have THE coolest restroom decor I’ve ever seen!

FOOD:
Crab Fries
Apparently their specialty. The fries were average but the dip is to die for! Not sure why its named that way as there’s no taste of crab.

Cheesesteak Nachos
Huge portion with a good amount of toppings. Very good.

Lobster Cheesesteak
Meat, fresh lobster & cheese sauce. This isn’t the best cheesesteak I’ve had, but maybe if it came with real cheese it would’ve complimented the flavors better.

Mussels Marinara
A family member’s dish, so I just tried one. Tender & lots of flavor but I’m not a big mussel fan.

Dungeness Crab – Tried a portion from my hubby. It’s good but mainstream. Nothing unique.

SERVICE:
We walked in at lunch time and got seated in about 15 mins. Our female server wasn’t the friendliest of people but she did check on us throughout our meal.

OVERALL:
This is the place to be if you’re a sports fan or if you just want some great bar food.

I came to the restaurant to get out of the cold while waiting for the other events for Philly Unrivaled Women’s basketball to begin. I was pleasantly surprised at the service, taste of the food, and atmosphere.. The place is huge which I’m sure is great on big game days, but it was only mildly busy/loud today which was nice. Lots of single dudes that must’ve just gotten off of work, so if dudes talking loudly isn’t your thing, I’d skip it. I recommended it online to a few people on social media that were looking for something to do before the basketball festivities began. My server Theresa was amazing and even brought me a gluten free menu, made great suggestions about drinks and food, and told me about the free shuttle that runs from the restaurant to the stadium.

Our server Jasmine was great, the $1 draft beer special was a great value, and our ultimate crabfries hit the spot! The shuttle to the stadium is an extra nice touch, thanks for the hospitality Chickie’s & Pete’s!

Grat place before and after an eagles game. The dungeness crabs and Alaskan make your own crabs boil were way to salty. The vegetables in the boil were oily and bland. It would have been nice to receive a spoon/fork to collect the meet from the crab legs. The waitress was super friendly. Overall, a great place to be after the Eagles vs Giants game!!!

Wow, I can’t say how disappointed I am in C&P.. chicken sandwiches are now on brioche buns trying to be like all of the other places serving chicken sandwiches instead of sticking with the original short rolls and it tastes like crap… $19 for wings… everything is just overpriced. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to come over just to get a beer… C&P is turning into the the Genos and Pats tourist trap instead of a neighborhood bar… never again
