I really wanted to give this Chicken Shack a five star, alas it’s a chicken shack. They staff is always hard working and on point whenever I stop here. The food is always cooked fresh and the restaurant is clean from the restroom to the lobby and kitchen. I always see what appear to be the regulars coming in for dinner. Good clean place with good food. Oh ya, the coleslaw keeps you coming back. Ribs are good also.

I placed an order with this store yesterday 8/22/2025, I ordered wing bite family meal, and was told it would be approximately 40 pieces for $46.71. Another expensive meal we had to throw away from Chicken Shack! This store will mislead their customers in believing they’re getting a larger wing bite than they actually are by loading it full of batter that makes the chicken bite look much bigger than it really is! $46.71is alot of money to spend on a meal that you have to throw away because it’s more batter than anything else! Management has to do better, this is no way ok to treat your customers this way! It would be appreciated if management can reply with a phone number that I can call so someone can explain to me why this is ok! If you do not care what you serve shut your doors and be done with, because 46.71 is too much money to lose! Customers ordering this meal just be aware that you will take ALOT more batter than chicken, it’s terrible! Anyway chicken shack do better for your customers they work too hard to get ripped off!

I did a delivery for the company where I work to a customer in the area near where Chicken Shack is. I wanted to grab an order of chicken to be able to munch & head back to the worksite, so I did a search & found Chicken Shack! This was going to be MY first visit to Chicken Shack, so I didn’t know just what to expect, especially from the menu. I drove there, looked over the menu, and placed MY order with Crystal, after having asked a number of questions. Crystal was patient, knowledgeable, & professional, & helped ME to understand how things worked with the Chicken Shack menu! I actually ended up placing an order for the Cod, & I included onion rings! They do presently have some construction going on at this location, but the service is still going on Very Well, even with that!

I have been waiting 55 minutes and have been sitting at the window for 25 of that. They do not seem to know what they are doing. I used to love this place, always has to wait a little bit but had no problem with that. Now after 25 minutes I was asked to pull forward. It does not take that long to cook 2 fish dinners. They are not even busy!!!!! Ended up taking it back in and getting my money back they wanted $14.99 for 5 cod sticks and a small container of coleslaw. Definitely lost my business. Really has gone down hill.

I love chicken shack and have never had this long of a wait for my food. I ordered a 3 tender piece snack with shack potatoes and it took over 30 minutes to get my food. I am not at all impressed with the service tonight. I recommend the food just make sure you have plenty of time to wait for it.

Always great to come to chicken shack when I’m hungry for some chicken. The food tastes great, the employees are patient, and the general atmosphere of the restaurant is just so home-like. I’ve been going to this one in Warren since I was a kid, it’s been an enjoyable experience every time

Small pieces of chicken and ribs. So not worth the prices!! Long waiting times especially in the drive through. Most employees are nice yet some are very rude! Don’t try to call and express your concerns because they don’t answer the phone.

The ribs and shack potatoes were great. The issue was with the battered mushrooms. Looks to me like the fryer oil had debris on the very bottom, which stuck to the batter. We could not eat them. See pic.

Today was the first I’ve ever been to Chicken Shack. I’m not one to usually give reviews to fast-food restaurants but this place deserves my time. It will now be my go-to for chicken and fish! The entire staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I have to say that Courtney and Skyler ran the front of the house with pinache. Erv and Rob were very fastidious in the kitchen. I was extremely impressed.

Restaurant smell disgusting, like it hasn’t been cleaned in 10 years… Literally. Looks like it too. Ate 1 bite of the fish sandwich, and 2 onion rings, and threw the whole meal away. HORRENDOUS!
