My chicken was horrible places supposed to be known for their chicken outside with soggy and and whatever like water and the inside was tough they ran out of coleslaw but they didn’t tell me they just gave me four spoonfuls of coleslaw I called it a side of coleslaw mashed potatoes instant and the gravy was two and it was slopped all over the container when I got it.
I fed at 3-piece chicken dinner to my dog 20 bucks I guess I’ll take the chicken meat that’s left on the chicken breast and make into chicken salad cuz it sure sucks it has no flavor whatsoever I will never go back and I live in Bronson

We had wanted to try this place for a while but it never worked out. They are only open Friday-Sunday. The stars aligned and Sunday was the day we got to try it. The chicken was great! Seriously, it was so good! The sides were fine but the chicken was the star. (I had to order the side of spaghetti because I can’t recall ever seeing it as a side at a chicken joint.) Everyone was very nice too!

My friend and I decided to go eat here because I had never ate there before. We both ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. First of all, we waited over an hour for our meals to be served and honestly it wasn’t anything spectacular. Secondly, the chicken fried steaks were very very overcooked. The steaks were basically leather by the time they got to us. I will not be eating here again.

My first time here! Everything was absolutely fantastic. The fried chicken was melt in your mouth hot and delicious. The side dishes were amazing, try the fried corn!! Onion rings for some of the best I have ever had. They are located conveniently between iola and fort Scott, a quick trip from either place and well worth it. Only a few minutes off of highway 169.
