Their buttered potatoes are SOOOO delicious! The chicken tenders are different. They don’t batter them so it’s just crispy skin on the outside, which 4/5 times has been too leathery for me to chew. But the last time I had them they were amazing!

Now, I am leaving this review because I have run into the same issue 3x at this location. They keep forgetting my bread roll.
I ordered a 5 & 3 peice tender meal. On the 5, I got the potatoes separate because i do not like the butter all on my chicken. So as I open the potatoes, they are undercooked. They were not all the way soft. I live 25 minutes away from this location and did not feel like driving g back so I had to end up throwing them
on my own air fryer.
On top of that one of the pieces of chicken they gave me was barely a full size piece of chicken.
I love chicken shack and I’ve been eating it since I was a young girl, boy this quality has me very disappointed.

I’ve been going to Chicken Shack for over 30 yrs. Unfortunately, the prices have gotten out of reach and the food, while it still taste good, the portions are so much smaller. The wing dinner used to have 12 wing dings now its maybe 8 @$2.00 per wing ding. The chicken pieces are so tiny now that it takes more to get full. I rarely go there anymore.

Chicken shack has been a part of Livonia for almost 12 years and today was our first time trying it. I must say the place was super clean inside, we were greeted with big smiles and everyone was very helpful who worked there we really weren’t in the mood for fried chicken so we ended up trying the fried cod meal deal with home style potatoes and Cole slaw. The fish was perfectly broasted and not greasy at all, although it could have used a little seasoning ( according to our taste buds ) The potatoes and coleslaw were pretty good as well. All in all it was a good experience and a good value for the money ✌️

Placed a large order for a birthday party online 45 minutes before pickup and paid online. Showed up and was told that the order had been cancelled even though our card had already been charged. Employees acted like it was my fault and didn’t believe me even though I showed them the email confirmation AND the charge showing on our credit card. Took 25 minutes for them to get authorization from a manager to give me my paid for food.

I got no roll this time…which the roll is a staple of chicken shacks dinners. And every time I go there I always order and pay online…when I go to pick it up I see it sitting there as nobody pays attention to you to where you practically have to start climbing over the counter for them to realize you want your food that has been paid for and is getting cold!

1st time at this location of chicken shack in a long time. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Broasted Potatoes & Cole Slaw. My partner had The 3 piece Chicken Tenders with a biscuits and Coleslaw.
My chicken sandwich was nice & Crispy on the outside. Nice & Tender in the inside. The sandwich was covered in spicy Mayo & pickles.
The Broasted Potatoes nice & buttery & The Coleslaw too die for. Reminds me of My Grandma’s Coleslaw.
My partners Chicken Tenders also were Crispy & Tender.
The only downside was The 25 minute wait. I recommend ordering ahead of time & picking up or eating there. I know they are short handed like everyone else due to covid but it’s Worth the wait.
