My visit on 2/22 was nothing compared to my previous visits. I was highly disappointed. I order a slab of ribs, 1- 5 piece bites, 1-10 piece bites, 9 piece shrimp and 1-lrge cole slaw. The cole slaw was not quite 3/4 full, the chicken bites were so small, all 15 bites could fit in one box very easily. The ribs were not fresh at all. So, as you see that I spent over $65. When I say that I was highly disappointed, it was an understatement. I took photos of a portion of my food. When I found that a Chicken Shack was coming to Genesee County….I was elated. I know the restaurant is under new management, but the change in portion is definitely not acceptable. I hope this is a wake up call to improve the quality and quantity of the meals.

Kind of a mixed bag for me. My wife has to pull me in as I don’t really care for paying steak prices for chicken! Trying to get what I want is always a challenge, too. They have, like, laws, on replacing an item with an item…I don’t want a thigh, substitute anything for it like most places will do, but not chicken shack. There’s an upcharge. Want bbq sauce on it? Upcharge. It’s just not pleasant for me, but my wife loves it. Btw, my chicken breast was so tough I had to put my partial in to chew it.

I ordered the 2 piece chicken, with white chicken and fries on Tuesday January 6, 2026 and I could not even eat the chicken breast which was so tough it could not be chewed. I am very disappointed because I have been looking for a chicken place in GB and they either cooked it too many times or it sat under lights for days? I have never had a piece of chicken that tough. I paid $14.00 for the order.

I can’t fairly comment on the atmosphere since I ordered via Uber Eats. The chicken tenders were some of the driest I’ve ever had. I may give this place another chance in-person given delivery can be iffy, but the meal sent was not good.

We had them cater my daughters wedding reception this past Friday. It was outstanding! ALL the food was perfect. Chicken was juicy and tender, green beans like fresh…potatoes delicious! Zachary made sure everything was done at the highest level. Very reasonable priced but better food than many wedding I’ve been to. Guests were commenting on how delicious the food was. Thank you so much Zachary!!! I would not hesitate to use them again.

So, the shack potatoes were amazing! The fries were pretty good, nothing special, but not bad. The chicken was a little dried out. The worst part was the flounder fish sandwich. The piece of fish was so flat that by the time they battered it there was barely any fish inside, The bun they put it on was sad, like someone took fresh baked buns, and stepped on them, and then served it to you. They put some tartar sauce on the sandwich, but only on one bun and it wasn’t enough to taste it.Like I said the shack potatoes were really good, but not so good that I would eat there again.

First time here and both the food and the service was outstanding. The workers were very friendly. The food itself was good, the breading on the chicken was like no other that I have had and it was great. Their sauce selections felt like there was something for everyone to like, most of their sauces are their own. Overall, the food and service was great 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time this past Monday and after some of my co-workers highly rated their potatoes, we decided to try them and some chicken legs and wings. Sadly, there was no seasoning. I was not impressed with the potatoes at all. In fact, I had to add my own seasoning when I got home and the chicken on its own was just fried chicken. No flavoring whatsoever and they also forgot to throw in the barbecue sauce that I asked fo,r but good chicken shouldn’t need sauce.

The employees were very friendly! We were quickly greeted and given our food as we did an online order. We chose to eat inside because it was very clean. The food was very fresh and hot and delicious. We both got the chicken sandwich with fries or potatoes. The chicken was so juicy and delicious.
