Trying chicken salad chick for the first time!
Such a cool place. If you like chicken salad, this is the place for you. They must have 10
Different unique varieties. I walked in the door not sure what to do. Not to look stupid or hold up a line I went to the self-serve refrigerated section picked out three different varieties of their chicken salad to try. they have two sizes. I’m thinking one is a half a pound and the other one is a pound.
So let’s just say a large container and a small container. A large container runs $13.99 feeds 4
And the small container runs $7.99 feeds 2
The first one was jalapeño Holly, a little spicy, but delicious if you like spicy this one’s for you. The second one was cranberry Kelli
A typical chicken salad with cranberry and almonds very good! The third one was my favorite, Lauryn’s lemon basil for me that was outstanding. I love basil and lemon, and it was so different and so delicious. How do I describe it like pesto. Also, I have to say everyone in there was so friendly.
They ask you if you want mini croissants or crackers with your chicken salad I took the crackers and I’m telling you there was no skimping on these crackers. She must’ve gave me about 20 packs of crackers.
I have been wanting to try chicken salad chick, I don’t have one close to me so I drove about 35 minutes. Well worth it. Here’s the real question would I go back. absolutely chicken salad was outstanding and the service was outstanding!

The interior decor is so happy and comfortable.

I rarely leave reviews but I genuinely HAVE to let people know how great this Chicken Salad Chick was. Restaurant was incredibly clean, I was immediately greeted upon walking in, and despite being indecisive with my order, the staff member (Nico/Niko?) couldn’t have been more patient. As he was taking my order he let me sample some of the flavors I was debating between to help me narrow it down, and he couldn’t have been nicer throughout!
As for the food- I’m honestly just obsessed with chicken salad so I’m probably biased BUT this was objectively good chicken salad. I got Fancy Nancy (I don’t know the other one’s name), the broccoli salad, and grape salad (Nico’s recommendation). All were 10/10.
For a fast casual restaurant, I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s physically impossible to have a bad experience here.

I am so excited this location has opened closer to Chicago! Yes, I will drive for chicken salad! I ordered online through the app for pick up. I had the two scoop with one side. This came with crackers, a pickle spear and a small cookie. I had the Fruity Fran, light and slightly sweet. I also had the Jalapeño Holly that had craisins and jalapeños. This one was very savory. I love the grape salad as my side. I bought extra grape salad and a small quick chick of my super favorite of Olivia’s Old South home.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. Thr chicken salad was tasty and we tried several kinds. The side salads were also very tasty as it was flavorful and fresh. I also really enjoyed the white chocolate cake. The prices are pretty high, but its still good quality and I would come bsck for sure.

This was our first visit. I only happened to find the restaurant by doing a Google search for ‘new restaurants in Glen Ellyn’ and thought we would give it a try. I’m so glad we did. The food is fresh, tasty, and a good value. The restaurant is nicely decorated and inviting. And the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back.

I’ve tried almost all of the salads except spicier. I love them all. I was reluctant to try the side broccoli salad but it is now one of my favorites! Don’t miss it. My husband and I enjoy going here quite a bit. I especially like that you can get the salad in scoops and not on bread. They serve scoops with crackers.
The other day I placed a to-go order in the app which was very easy. It was ready at the time I requested. Took it to my cousins who loved everything

If you like chicken salad this is hands-down the best chicken salad you’ll ever have! With a dozen different kinds of chicken salad you will surely find at least one you can’t live without! The Fancy Nancy and BBQ are so good! I have gone 1-2 times per week since they opened and tried several types – and love them all!!! Plus their sides are so insanely good – the broccoli salad is so delish!
I’ve also started buying the grab and go tubs of chicken salad to make sandwiches at home in between visits.
The serving sizes are plentiful and the service is excellent!
Bonus…the food is fresh and healthy!

I had been wanting to try this place for so long, so I am thrilled a location opened near me. I ordered a scoop of the Kickin’ Kay Lynne which came with a pickle, crackers, and a little cookie (which was delicious). I also got the loaded baked potato soup as a side. The food was amazing and I got all of that for around $11. Next time I will definitely try it on the croissant. The staff was very friendly and when I was browsing the prepackaged chicken salad flavors, they were quick to ask me if I needed help and that the kitchen could make any flavors that were not in the fridge already. I will be back!!!
