Writing this review in hopes of bettering this place. Rating 3 stars because the food here is delicious but the service can be lacking. About 50% of the time my order is actually correct, there have been many times where they have left out a side I paid for. My biggest concern is the lettuce greens are always old and soggy. Every time I order the classic salad about 2/3 or more of the lettuce is not safe for consumption because it is old and soggy, it takes about 4-7 days for lettuce to look like this so this is not acceptable… Please stop giving customers old greens! Throw it away! I really love this place despite my concerns, so please fix these discrepancies.

We love this place! It was clean, friendly, had quick service, and the food and prices were great. We both had the Carol’s Classic Chicken Salad Croissant. It tasted great and was some of the best chicken salad that we have had. The croissants were fresh, soft and tasted great. The poppyseed salad was fresh and had lots of ingredients as well. The fruit was fresh and tasted sweet. The portions were a good filling size. Each sandwich was accompanied by a small sugar cookie with icing that was really good. We both had a great meal in a great place for $20.00 – that never happens. They even allow you to taste the item before purchasing it to make sure that you like it (I only know ice cream parlors that do that). We will be going to Chicken Salad Chic in every town we see one from now on. They had a drive thru (WOW) and offer take out. They even have parking especially for to go/ pick up orders. This is a great place to go for great food at a small cost.

First time dining in. Staff reviewed menu and options and even allowed a couple of salad samples! If there were 10 star grading, this place deserves it!!! Definitely will return on my next travel trip to Johnson City!

What a cute place! Finally, something on the healthier side of fast food, and oh so delicious. I love that “The Chick” combo comes with a cute little cookie. I highly recommend this place. Olivia’s Old has perfect flavor for my taste.

I like the food here, but the drive – thru staff is not very friendly. You almost get the feeling as though they begrudgingly serve you!!! The younger African-American woman always appears to look at me with pure hate and disgust — perhaps because I am a white male. She always snatches the credit card from my hand and never smiles or says “thank you” to me! There is also this Caucasian – American guy who acts like a robot — no emotions or feelings, just take your money and hand you the food.

If ordering catering please know they will “Doordash” the order to your site. There is NO delivery service at CSC to set up. This is not specified when ordering catering and your delivery communication is from Door Dash-not CSC. This definitely became an issue when having catering delivered and supposedly set up for an event within a healthcare office. The other issue is the ordering process online for catering actually allowed for ordering multiple selections of meal boxes and then reverted to one selection only upon completing the purchase (which we didnt realize until the food was delivered). The food is fine for a drive through order but we won’t be using them for catering lunch again. Ordering process too sketchy and personalized service for catering wasn’t there.

I got the olivia’s chicken salad and the egg salad. IM not sure how they can justify $7 for each let alone the egg salad. The egg salad- the eggs were over-boiled, not chopped up well and wayyy overdone with mustard. The chicken salad was just ok, nothing amazing. The Apple Cake Tea Room in Knoxville has amazing chicken salad. Within 45 minutes I was sick to my stomach throwing up. Won’t come back.

First time here. Excellent customer service. The young lady that took our order was patient explaining the menu. You can have a salad with a scoop of chicken salad or alone or on a sandwich . We ordered it with salad and at first it looked a bit small for me. But it was the perfect amount. I felt so satisfied and filled and it comes with a cookie which was amazing

Chicken Salad Chick is always consistent. Each one time my family and I visit, we always enjoy the food. The only drawback is the dining room layout. It’s just not a favorite, but the Jalapeno Holly is.

I did not have a recent photo, but this was from take out a few months ago. The Fancy Nancy is my personal favorite. The loaded potato soup is a good side, as well as the broccoli salad. The pumpkin cheesecake is seasonal, but also very good. It costs almost $11 for one chicken salad scoop, a side, and a large drink. A pickle, crackers, and a small cookie are included with purchase. It would be more cost effective to get the 2 or 3 scoop meal because it’s just a few dollars more. I think the cheesecake was around $2.
