The employee who helped me(Eden) was absolutely so lovely. I love this location, the food is amazing and it’s very clean in and out. I recommend getting the sassy scotty, jalapeño jolly, or even the kicker kay lynne. it’s always make sure to get a sandwich because those croissants are so good.

I was headed next door to Mission BBQ when I had a thought: why not try something new? I’m SO glad I did.
Though the restaurant’s theme caters to a specific audience that I didn’t quite fit into (which is probably why I attracted some curious looks as I walked in), I put my ego aside and approached the counter. At this quick-service restaurant, I was warmly welcomed to Chicken Salad Chick. I ordered the BLT sandwich with the Kickin’ Kay Lynne chicken salad on toasted wheat bread, along with a cup of chicken tortilla soup.
I believe all their chicken salads are mayo-based and prepared traditionally (with mayo, veggies, shredded chicken, etc.) into a spreadable form. It was delicious and appropriately portioned. The plate was well-presented (see pic), and it included a dill pickle spear and a cookie, which was a nice touch.
The restaurant was clean, and the employees were actively maintaining it and engaging with customers, which is rare these days. The staff seemed happy to be there and eager to help.
The bathroom antics were also a great touch.
Overall, they did a great job, and I will definitely be back!

This southern jewel started in Auburn, AL and has made its way to the New River Valley. Fresh food, not too heavy, and full of flavor. The decor and seating is conducive to good conversation and the Strawberry Lemonade is fantastic. I took one star away because I want a larger helping of chicken salad…all varieties! I returned that fifth star because all meals come with a dill pickle…and that is worth 5 stars all by itself!!!! #dillpicklesarebest

Would’ve liked a little bit more chicken salad on my sandwich, but for $11 it’s competitive (and healthier!) than most fast-casual alternatives. Croissant should’ve been toasted a little more as it was a bit on the mushy side—a byproduct of the wet texture of the chicken salad.

This was our first visit to a Chicken Salad Chick, but it won’t be the last! My husband and I visited as an afternoon date stop after grocery shopping (so we were hungry!). We enjoyed our meal, felt full, and walked away content. Most places that fill you up leave us feeling bloated, but this was just right!
Bonus points to the employees! They heard us say I have an allergy. Not only did they prepare our food safely, but one of the ladies wiped down the table we were headed to so to ensure we wouldn’t have any contact allergic reactions. I know that took all of 60 seconds, but it left a lasting impression on us!

Tell me again why I should be paying $13 for a sandwich that I can’t even see the meat pass the bread? Looks like they took one small scoop and spread it like butter. Also I asked for no tomato and there was tomato still on it. (Not in the pic because I can’t stand the flavor so I took it off immediately) So I don’t know who was working today 5/1/24 around 3:30pm but definitely not my favorite experience getting food from here.

This place has the best chicken salad around. My personal favorite is the lemon basil but they have a flavor for everyone! The staff is always so friendly and welcome you with a smile that feels like home! The service is always quick & the order is never wrong! 11/10 recommend trying out chicken salad chick!

The Chick is always good. I live the Fancy Nancy. My daughter, 15,loves the jalapeno Holly toasted with cheese croissant. I wish the grape salad could be dessert in place of the cookie. Haha. Service is always fast and friendly. The tables are always clean (a part peeve of mine). If you are looking for a new lunch option I would recommend you give it a try.
